Today, people gather here to experience the wonder and joys of the outdoors. A popular activity is to stroll along the Suwakyo Promenade, a 3.5 kilometer long trail that begins at the Minakami Mizukikokan Roadside Station, your gateway to this nature-lover’s paradise. If you request a volunteer guide, you can learn about the Tone River, its surrounding environment, and the breathtaking natural scenery of the mountains, forests, and of course, the river.
