Created by Hikaru Seino, founder and CEO of GANON FLORIST and one of Japan's leading flower artists, BOTANICA MUSEUM centers on "the miracles of nature"—the breathtaking forms and functions that plants have developed through countless generations of adaptation. Seino, who has lectured at Spain's Gaudí architecture exhibitions and orchestrated floral displays at fashion shows worldwide, brings his artistic vision to this immersive museum experience.

The museum engages all five senses to help visitors connect with the natural world. Visually, you'll encounter stunning floral installations and art objects born from Seino's creative sensibility. The entire space resonates with nature-inspired sounds that calm the mind and body. Fragrance plays a central role, as carefully curated scents throughout the museum evoke memories and emotions, connecting your sense of smell to personal experiences. The museum further invites guests to join workshops using dried and fresh flowers, offering a tangible experience that highlights the essence of these natural elements.

The museum's adjoining restaurant completes the sensory journey through taste. Here, you can savor pasta dishes infused with floral aromas and the signature "Septet"—a set of seven petit fours designed around seven distinct tastes: sweet, salty, sour, bitter, umami, spicy, and fatty. This unique culinary offering harmonizes with the museum's philosophy of experiencing nature's abundance. Information on the 'Septet' petit four set is current as of November 2024. As menu offerings may be updated without notice, be sure to consult the official website for current details. A highlight of your visit is the HANANINGEN (Flower Human) experience, part of Seino's project to create "the world's most flower-loving nation." This innovative art form fuses flowers with humanity: visitors can have flowers arranged on their heads and photograph themselves as living artworks, becoming one with the floral installations as they move through the museum.

For those seeking to enrich their lives through nature's wisdom, BOTANICA MUSEUM offers an unforgettable journey. Through admiring the evolutionary marvels of plant life, savoring nature-inspired cuisine, and transforming into a "flower human" yourself, you’re likely to discover fresh perspectives on the miracles that surround us daily.
