It is believed to have been a place where travelers and pilgrims came and went, fostering various "connections." Here, we cherish the history of Kawasaki-juku, and believe in modern times, too, that the daily life of the local area is a tourism resource to be proud of. This hideaway-like space for adults was selected for the Japan Space Design Award, and from the counter seats equipped with beautiful Edo Kiriko lighting you can enjoy 14 types of beer, from standard to seasonal, while overlooking fermentation tanks that resemble the night view of Kawasaki's factories.Located near Kawasaki Station, this brewery and beer bar is quietly nestled within the former site of Kawasaki-juku on the Tokaido road. Enjoy freshly brewed craft beer from the counter seats, beautifully lit with Edo Kiriko glass that was selected for the Japan Space Design Award, while gazing at beer fermentation tanks that resemble the night view of Kawasaki factories.

Just a short walk from Keikyu Kawasaki Station, you can try your hand at making "Kiriko", a traditional glass craft, at a workshop located along the old Tokaido road at the ruins of a Kawasaki post. Visitors can choose from a variety of glasses and plates and consult with the studio to find their favorite design, so even beginners can try their hand at faceting. Take your creations home as souvenirs!The classroom nestled within an aesthetic building that was renovated from an old liquor wholesaler. You will use two types of grinders to sharpen the glass, but even beginners can feel at ease as each class is held in small groups, with careful and detailed instruction. 

Kawasaki Racecourse's new Barbeque Plaza features a large screen on which you can watch horseracing, and a variety of playsets for children to enjoy.

Night horse races held from April to December are most popular. The last race starts around 8:50 PM, so you can stop by on your way home from work.
