Visitors do not have to pay an entrance fee for the island and are free to dine at the area’s restaurants, peruse its shops, and stroll through the grounds. This is Yokohama's only park featuring a seaside swimming beach! Along the coastline, a sandy beach lush with greenery stretches approximately 1 kilometer, making the perfect space for visitors to interact with the ocean. Despite its natural appearance, this sandy beach was artificially created using sand transported from Chiba Prefecture. Today, it is home to numerous creatures such as crabs and clams. In early spring, visitors can enjoy clam digging, and in summer, the beach comes alive with the start of swimming season. The calm waves and gently sloping shoreline make it the ideal beach for sand play and windsurfing. The park also features marine sport facilities like beach volleyball courts and a windsurfing storage shed. In addition, the Nagisa Plaza hosts a grass field suitable for soccer and other fun, as well as a barbecue area, allowing visitors to enjoy a variety of seaside leisure activities.

The former Hirobumi Ito Kanazawa Villa in Nojima Park is a building with a thatched roof built in 1898 by Hirobumi Ito, a man who served as the first Prime Minister of Japan. The villa features views of Hakkeijima and the sea.

The park is located on an island called Nojima at the entrance to Hirakata Bay in the southernmost part of Yokohama City. The area is famous for "Nojima no Sekisho" (a brocade picture depicting a sunset over the fishing village of Nojima)—part of the "Kanazawa Hakkei" (Eight Famous Views of Kanazawa) collection painted by Hiroshige Utagawa, an ukiyoe artist active in the late Edo period. Centered on Mount Nojima, 57m above sea level, the park features a number of facilities such as an observatory, barbecue area, campground, and baseball field, and from the observatory, you can see the sea of Yokohama, Boso Peninsula, and Mount Fuji. Other historical spots include the former Kanazawa residence of Ito Hirobumi, a Yokohama City-designated Tangible Cultural Property, and the Nojima Shell Mound.
