A pleasant green waterfront park. On the premises there is the Sail Training Ship Nippon Maru, symbol of Yokohama Port, and the Yokohama Port Museum, where you can learn about the history of Yokohama Port. The first dock, where the Nippon Maru is moored and preserved, is a nationally designated important cultural property, along with the sailing ship itself.

A promenade made by overhauling a dead track used by the former Japan National Railways that opened in 1911. It consists of three bridges connecting the Nihonmaru Memorial Park to the Shinko area. Skyscrapers of the Minatomirai area can be viewed from this 500-meter long boardwalk. Rubblework constructed at the time of the opening of the railways, a US-made railroad bridge and other historical structures are left in their original places. The Unga Park located at the end of Kisha Michi in the Shinko area has a plaza facing the promenade.

Located 273m above ground, this observatory floor prides itself as one of the tallest in Japan. The magnificent panorama is breathtaking. You can enjoy a 360 degree view of an estimated 80km ahead, which includes of course, the beautiful scenery of Yokohama’s Minato Mirai, and if the weather is clear, Tokyo Skytree, Mount Fuji and the Boso Peninsula. The stunning nightscape is also a sight not to be missed.For a panoramic view of Yokohama take the 40-second elevator ride to the 69th floor of Yokohama Landmark Tower. Sip a cup of tea at the café with window-facing seats while enjoying the scenery.
