Shonan Kaigan Park is home to a number of facilities, including Surf Village, which houses the Park Management Office, Salt Breeze Plaza, Water Plaza, Kids Plaza, Palm Tree & Lawn Plaza, and the Multipurpose Plaza. It is a place where visitors can deepen their understanding of the sea, and serves as a base for general park visitors. Visitors can also enjoy activities such as beach sports and experience lifesaving activities.

Medical robots and healing robots are displayed in a showroom for visitors to touch and experience them.

In order to promote the image of "Enoshima = Cycling" at the third sector organization Shonannagisa Park, they began their rent-a-cycle service in 2014. You can start your journey from Enoshima and bike your way to Kamakura or Chigasaki.

Shonan Beach Park is a gigantic park stretching about 2 km along the Kugenuma and Katase Coasts. The spacious 17-hectare grounds of Shonan Beach Park contain a surf village, which is bustling with surfers and people playing marine sports throughout the year. There is also a kids' space with big playground equipment and a sandbox, and a green lawn with palm trees that overlooks the ocean. The park is fully equipped for all purposes and is loved by visitors in summer as well as the local people.

Known as the Novelist Kaiko, Kaiko Takeshi moved from Suginami, Tokyo to this location just south of the eastern shores of Chigasaki in 1974, and was active at this location until he passed away in 1989. This Kaiko Takeshi Memorial House was built in memory of his accomplishments and character which many are moved by.
