A popular ski and snowboard resort with great accessibility from Tokyo. Well-equipped to cater for all levels, the resort boasts 12 trails including a full-scale 3km downhill, a half pipe and a slalom trail for the advanced, plus trails for beginners and children and a child-friendly area for sleighs and snow play. The resort also offers seasonal delights such as slopes of lilies in summer and coloured leaves in autumn that can each be viewed from the ropeway.

You can experience grabbing freshwater fish by hand in the clear waters of the Ojikagawa  rivers and Kinugawa Park.  The fish you catch can then be cooked for you and eaten at your ryokan.  

Lake Ikari is a reservoir on the Ojikagawa River， downstream of Yunishigawa Dam.The lake's name， which means ""50 'ri' lake，"" is derived from the fact the lake is located 50 'ri' from Nihonbashi in Edo. During the fall foliage season from mid-October to early November， the lake and the fiery leaves of the trees on its shore create a beautiful contrast， attracting large numbers of visitors. Around May 5th each year， koinobori carp streamers can be seen ""swimming"" as they are flown from the top of Ikari Dam.""

This nature-filled park features a forest rich with horse chestnut and Mongolian oak trees， which was chosen for “Japan’s Top 100 Forests.” Lots of grasses and flowers here too， like peat moss and Ezo loosestrife. You’ll even find the country’s smallest dragonfly (Nannophya pygmaea) and other unique fauna and flora amid such rich nature. Pathways and restrooms ensure that everyone has a pleasant visit."

A tranquil Onsen-kyo nestled in the valley where the Kinugawa and Ojika Rivers meet. Since the 18th century when the spa was discovered， Kawaji has prospered as a post station and a therapeutic spa. The simple alkaline hot spring is an effective treatment for neuralgia， rheumatism and particularly for injuries. The nearby nature trail leading to the scenic “Ryuokyo gorge” offers a lovely way to take in the floral scents and the sounds of local streams.
