The "U.S.-Japan Friendship Cherry Blossom Festival" is an annual event where the U.S. army base in Zama, Japan, opens to the public. Take a stroll inside the normally inaccessible U.S. military base and admire over 300 cherry blossom trees. Many American foods, such as hamburgers, pizza, and hot dogs will be available at food stalls for you to enjoy the international flavors. There are also live bands and a DJ, as well as a kids zone, making it fun for everyone in the family!

The shrine has been widely loved by local people as "Iizuna Incarnation of Sagami" since the olden days. The head shrine is Iizuna Shrine in Nagano Prefecture. The shrine ground lead into Zama Park, which is famous for cherry blossoms. You can enjoy a spectacular view of Oyama, Tanzawa, and Hakone mountains over the cherry trees.

The tour includes the viewing of historic and valuable Nissan cars. There are old cars from the 1930s, like production cars, historic race cars, Nissan street motorcycles, off-road vehicles, and other vintage vehicles. The Zama sunflower was established as the city flower of Zama City in 1969, and was selected as one of the "100 best places for flowers in Kanagawa" in 1994. A total of 550,000 flowers bloom over a total area of 5.5ha, and a sunflower festival is held every year.Add an artsy touch to your photos during the Kurihara festival by posing with props supplied by the festival. Model with picture frames and hats to immortalize the fun moment.

The festival of flying kites in Zama started in the Edo period as an event to celebrate Boys' Festival. Every year on May 4th and 5th, the Ookite Festival, selected as one of Kanagawa's 50 best festivals, is held and a 13 square metre kite is flown by 100 people.
