Children's Nature Park is a large athletic facility which includes Makigahara Chibikko Zoo, where you can touch small animals such as guinea pigs and mice.  In spring, the cherry blossoms bloom all at once, and the view from the top of Sakurayama is amazing.

Fondly known as “the temple of flowers” and “the temple of the kappa (a mystical water-dwelling creature),” Jousenji is home to flowers that bloom splendidly in each of the four seasons throughout the entire year. In particular, the “trident of spring” and the “white equinox flower of autumn” are famous. Numerous kappa are positioned in the grounds in random places so that visitors can enjoy them together with the flowers.

Approximately 500 cherry trees, including the Yoshino variety, line both banks of the Hikiji River, spanning about 1.3 kilometers. Many people visit when the blossoms are in full bloom, as they form a gorgeous tunnel around the river, making for a picturesque scene.Visit in early April to appreciate the beautiful blossoms.

We are a family-run farm, operated by two generations, located in Izumi Ward, Yokohama. For many years, we have been committed to selling safe, high-quality vegetables grown with organic fertilizers and reduced or no pesticides, as well as handmade processed products such as traditional pickles and side dishes. In recent years, we have also developed into a tourist farm, offering experiences such as strawberry picking and sweet potato digging, as well as BBQ and camping in the rich natural surroundings of the satoyama. Conveniently located just about a 10-minute walk from the nearest station, visitors can easily stop by even from afar.

Yamato Cultural Creation Center SiRiUS, a cultural complex, is popular as a place for encountering various peoples and cultures. In particular the main hall and sub-hall of Yamato Arts and Culture Hall can cater to lecture meetings and conferences of various sizes.
