This service area is located on the Tomei Expressway within Ebina City. It includes a large parking lot, restrooms, restaurants and a gas station. In addition, visitors can purchase souvenirs and enjoy meals and light snacks. There is also free Wi-Fi available. It is the only service area within Kanagawa Prefecture, and the facility regularly hosts events featuring local specialty products.

Fondly known as “the temple of flowers” and “the temple of the kappa (a mystical water-dwelling creature),” Jousenji is home to flowers that bloom splendidly in each of the four seasons throughout the entire year. In particular, the “trident of spring” and the “white equinox flower of autumn” are famous. Numerous kappa are positioned in the grounds in random places so that visitors can enjoy them together with the flowers.

Approximately 500 cherry trees, including the Yoshino variety, line both banks of the Hikiji River, spanning about 1.3 kilometers. Many people visit when the blossoms are in full bloom, as they form a gorgeous tunnel around the river, making for a picturesque scene.Visit in early April to appreciate the beautiful blossoms.

An orchard located within Fujisawa City. We offer fruit-picking experiences, as well as direct sales and home delivery. Plums can be picked in May, whereas pears, grapes, Japanese pears, persimmons, figs, and other fruits can be picked from August to December.

Take a leisurely stroll through the thickets of 130 species of wildflowers and grasses, such as the calanthe discolor, the golden-rayed lily and the mountain hydrangea (or 'tea of heaven').
