This plantation, where you can harvest produce by hand, was opened to the public out of a desire to let others experience both joy of farming firsthand and the deliciousness of fresh vegetables. Fruits and vegetables grown with utmost care fill the plantation from end to end. By harvesting them yourself, you will experience a truly meaningful flavor when you eat them. The plantation also has a store where they sell produce.

Once you exit the ticket gate, you're already at the antique market. Approximately 300 treasure-shops await you! Shops from all over the country offer antique folk implements from the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa periods, as well as calligraphy, paintings, hanging scrolls, porcelain replicas, crafts, vintage fabrics, and Western antiques. The Kanagawa Yamato Antique Market is sure to satisfy everyone from beginners to collectors. Many foreign visitors also visit. The market is open from 7am to 4pm, rain or shine.

This dancing festival is iconic of Yamato, which is considered one of Kanto’s top three Awa Odori festivals. Dancers wearing brightly colored outfits move in time with the echoing gongs and drums. If you find yourself wanting to dance, you’re welcome to join in for the “Niwakaren”!

Yamato Cultural Creation Center SiRiUS, a cultural complex, is popular as a place for encountering various peoples and cultures. In particular the main hall and sub-hall of Yamato Arts and Culture Hall can cater to lecture meetings and conferences of various sizes.

The tour includes the viewing of historic and valuable Nissan cars. There are old cars from the 1930s, like production cars, historic race cars, Nissan street motorcycles, off-road vehicles, and other vintage vehicles.
