Sagami River Fureai Science Museum Aquarium Sagamihara is an aquarium that mainly exhibits creatures that inhabit the Sagami River. Children and adults alike can enjoy the "flow aquarium," which recreates the Sagami River from upstream to the mouth, the "walking water tank," where you can observe the fish swimming at your feet, and the "fish with food," where you can feed the fish. Guided tours and workshops are also available!

The Kamimizo Summer Festival has been held in Sagamihara since the end of the Edo period (1603-1868). The festival is said to be dedicated to Emperor Ushira, who prays for a good harvest and safety of the family, and is said to have been inspired by the Yasaka Shrine in Kyoto. On Sunday evenings, the local portable shrines (Mikoshi) and floats (Dashi) gather from each town and start a grand procession. Once the evening sun goes down, the lanterns of the portable shrines are lit, creating a fantastic spectacle that is not to be missed.

Nestled within the Sagami Yokoyama/Sagami River Suburban Greenbelt Special Preservation Area and the Greater Tokyo Suburban Greenbelt Preservation area, this scenic park boasts spectaclar natural scenery. It serves as a green space for conservation and a place of relaxation for local citizens. In an effort to preserve the natural environment of the Yokohama Hills and the source of the Michihoshi River as an urban green space, it serves as a place for interaction with nature where water and greenery meet. Visitors can observe wild birds and plants up close, deepening their understanding of nature. The park is also utilized as a venue for environmental education and outdoor learning.

This park is a part of the Sagamigawa Village of Nature, and is famous for cherry blossom viewing and camping. Popular park spots include the Four Seasons Stream and the Sun Pond, where even the smallest of children can enjoy playing in the water in peace. Seiryu no Sato lends visitors a space to relax while taking in the rich nature of the Sagami River and the changing seasons. It also features the Gallery Corner, which displays a number of works, including paintings and photographs, as well as Restaurant Seiryu, where guests can dine aside the Sagami River (also open to use by non-staying guests).
