Raitei is a restaurant that serves Japanese buckwheat noodles and kaiseki cuisine, where you can enjoy homemade buckwheat noodles and delicious dishes featuring precise techniques and fresh ingredients in a superb location with a view of the Shonan Sea and Mount Fuji. The restaurant building and the mountain gate was built in the Edo period and are 250 to 300 years old. They are designated as national tangible cultural properties. There is also a beautiful Japanese garden with bamboo and plum trees, cherry blossoms, a stone Buddha, and a tea ceremony room. On weekends and holidays, visitors can enjoy a sweet shop and beer garden.

The Mount Kamakura Residential area was developed as a high class suburban area during the early Showa period, making a name out of Kamakura across the nation. While preserving the mountain range as much as possible, this residential area was built in the middle of greenery, with Japan’s first road for vehicles linking the area to Ofuna Station. Along the road, there are many sakura trees planted from a long time ago, making the area one of Kamakura’s famous sakura spots.

Since the building dates from the late Edo period to early Meiji period, the relaxing, old fashion atmosphere remains. You can enjoy local Kamakura vegetables and seafood here.

The Kamakura Prince Hotel is located on a small hill. Here you can enjoy evening views of Sagami Bay, Enoshima, and Mt. Fuji. There are plenty of sunny days from December to March.
