Isoyama Shrine in Kanuma City is a historic shrine that received a Goshuin (red seal) from the Tokugawa Shogunate, and is now known as one of the best known hydrangea viewing spots in the northern Kanto region.   The shrine is also known as one of the best places for viewing hydrangeas in the northern Kanto region. The 2,500 hydrangeas of 28 varieties planted along the approach to the shrine and around the shrine pavilions are in full bloom, creating a wonderful contrast with the green of the cedar trees. During the festival, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., lanterns are lit, and the hydrangeas reflected in the pale light create an ethereal atmosphere.   A "Chinoawa" or "ring of thatch," which is said to bring good health to those who pass through it, will also be set up.

This pool complex features a 200-meter-long lazy river， two kiddy pools， a 25-meter practice pool， and four types of water slide. It is open every day from the third Saturday of July to August 31. The well-equipped complex features， a shop， a parking lot， and other facilities and sees large crowds in the summer."

One of the biggest Satsuki Bonsai Festivals in Japan is held from the end of May to the beginning of June. Kanuma is Japan's ultimate source of Kanuma soil, and Bonsai made with Kanuma soil are famous. Among many kinds of Bonsai, be sure to see the Satsuki Azaleas. They are a single tree whose blossoms are mysterious and beautiful and whose flowers have various colors and shapes. During the festival is being held, there are numerous events, such as Satsuki workshop and present of Satsuki saplings, a music concert, and a folk entertainment.

This large gardening shop complex is located on 400，000 meters of hilly land known by locals as "Moroyama." Its shop offers flowering plants， as well as garden trees， and landscaping and gardening supplies， with a particular focus on satsuki azalea. Some of its many facilities include a plum grove， the Wild Bird Forest， a tourist strawberry farm， and a hilltop barbequing space. It is a great place to enjoy spending a day surrounded by flowers and trees."

Enjoy a mock Sumo festival of Ikiko Shrine. Nakizumo， crying baby Sumo， is Japan's traditional event to pray for health and growth of the baby. In this style of Sumo wrestling， two children from one to two years of age are carried respectively by two local parishioners dressed as Sumo wrestlers to battle each other with shouts of "Yoisho， Yoisho，" with the winner being the who cries first. It is held at Ikiko Shrine every September.
