A Masterpiece of Architecture and Artistic Vision

SHIROIYA HOTEL seamlessly integrates old and new, creating an architectural landmark designed by the celebrated Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto. The property consists of two buildings: the historical Heritage Tower, which preserves the charm of the original structure, and the contemporary Green Tower, a bold addition covered in greenery that reflects Fujimoto’s signature style. Inside the four-story atrium, there is a striking centerpiece featuring a light installation by artist Leandro Erlich, with illuminated pipes casting a soft glow through the space, turning it into a living canvas that transforms throughout the day.

The hotel’s 25 rooms are pieces of art themselves, functional spaces with thoughtful design. Among them, the Jasper Morrison Room stands out for its simplicity and elegance, showcasing the designer's "super normal" philosophy. The room features carefully chosen furnishings, including his signature minimalist chairs and lighting, creating an environment that feels both sophisticated and approachable.

How to Access SHIROIYA HOTEL

To reach the hotel, take the JR Hokuriku or Joetsu Shinkansen to Takasaki and transfer to Ryomo Line to Maebashi Station. From the station, it’s a 15-minute walk or a short taxi ride. For those traveling by car, parking is available nearby.
