A “theme park” for sake and beer lovers

Ishikawa Brewery is more than just a place to taste sake or beer—it’s a journey into Japanese brewing traditions. Step into the historic kura buildings and join a guided tour (reservation required for English-language tours) to learn about the techniques used to craft sake and beer over the centuries. From the Edo(1603-1868) to the Meiji(1868-1912) and Showa(1926–1989) periods, the exhibits show the evolution of brewing in Japan, giving visitors a deeper appreciation for these classic beverages. Throughout its history, Ishikawa Brewery has committed to pursuing new methods and ways to develop sake brewing. This commitment has brought to the world the line of Tamajiman sake, made from pure water, fresh air, and carefully selected ingredients. Every sip is a blend of history and innovation.

After your tour, treat yourself to seasonal sake and beer in the tasting areas, then stop for lunch or dinner at the on-site Italian restaurant, where the dishes are perfectly paired with the local fresh beer. Don’t forget to visit the shop, which features a curated selection of sake, beer, and even branded goods, allowing you to bring home a piece of this memorable experience. Whether you are a connoisseur or a curious traveler, you’ll find this “theme park for sake drinking” both educational and enjoyable.
