This resort is located west of Tokyo in the picturesque mountains of Gunma Prefecture at an elevation of 1,250 meters. In the winter months, the resort boasts world-class powder snow that covers six trails, the longest of which is 4.3 kilometers long, impressive for any ski resort. After a quick ride to the top of the slopes via gondola and lift, visitors will step out into the winter wonderland to stunning views of Mount Fuji in the distance, poking its snowy peak through the clouds. Head to the mountain early for freshly groomed trails and some of the best powder snow! Those visiting during the warmer months are welcome to enjoy the Pulse Gondola Tengu, which whisks you up to the Tengu Mountain Terrace, complete with even more mountain views and the aforementioned swing and sushi restaurant. What’s more, at the Tenguyama Play Zone at the base of the mountain, visitors can enjoy delicious BBQ and a variety of family-friendly activities ranging from tennis and badminton to hiking and mini golf.
