Izurusan Manganji Temple was founded in the year 767， approximately 1200 years ago.  This Shingon Buddhist Sect Chizan School Temple in Tochigi City is dedicated to the Thousand-Hand Kanzeon Bodhisattva. It is known as being a powerful spiritual location surrounded by forests and water with perpetual services offered for the deceased， zen meditation， and waterfall meditation. Nestled in nature with towering trees and fresh crisp air， the main temple， Omido， was built in 1368 and was reconstructed in 1764 after the great fire of 1740. The main temple hall has been designated a Prefectural Cultural Property whereas the Deva gate has been designated a City Cultural Property and the Izuru limestone caverns have been designated as City Natural Monument."

It is a museum featuring Kazuo Iwamura known as the author of the "14 Forest Mice" series. The exhibition includes original drawings for his picture books and conceptual sketches. The museum also holds reading sessions and mini music performances.The museum opened in April 1998. It looks down on the fresh waters of Nasu's Naka River from atop a beautiful hill."

This ranch is located in Toyoharaotsu， Nasu Town. Particularly popular are， the stained glass produced by the glass studio artist Tiffany， and the glass that is inspired by the Biblical wall decorations of St. Raphael Chapel. Inside the building antique pipe organ music is played live for your enjoyment during the stained glass viewing， every day. Additionally the St. Gabriel Chapel has a concert weekly (on weekends) with a variety of musical instruments， so weekend visits are recommended. This park is famous for its cherry blossoms, azaleas, hydrangeas, and other flowers. Sano yakuyoke-daishi is the popular name of this Tendai Buddhist temple in Sano City, Tochigi Prefecture. The name was made famous via TV commercials. A protective statue of the priest Ryogen is installed, so the temple has become associated with warding off misfortune. It’s one of the three main Tendai temples of the Kanto region for improving your luck, so every New Year’s Day people pour in for Hatsumode, the first prayers of the New Year."

A huge willow tree standing amidst a tranquil， rural landscape. The renowned poet Saigyo spied willow while on a journey and wrote a haiku about standing in its shade on the side of the road amidst the pure waters flowing through the surrounding rice paddies. Later， the playwright Kanze Nobumitsu wrote a play based on this poem， making the willow famous. The famed poet Basho also wrote about this willow in his “Narrow Road to the Interior，” described its moving beauty. Monuments inscribed with poems by Saigyo， Basho， and Buson have been placed next to the tree."

This park in Mutsumi-cho， Utsunomiya City has a theme of "Water， Greenery， and Culture." The Tochigi Prefectural Museum in Utsunomiya City is located in Tochigi Central Park and collects， preserves， and researches materials relating to Tochigi's nature and culture. This museum was opened as a general museum aimed at deepening understanding of Tochigi's nature and culture in October of 1982. The 72m spiral slope flora and fauna of Nikko， Tochigi's most famous area， exhibit is a site to see.The exhibition displays the animals in order of elevation and environment from the 600m elevation of the area around the Shinkyo Bridge to the 2578m elevation of the peak of Mt. Shirane. The exhibition rooms introduce the history of Tochigi from its geological age to the present， with themes on each era in chronological order， making the history easy to understand.The museum also hosts a variety of other themed exhibitions and planned exhibits as well as exhibits on nature， geology， plants and animal introductions."

Senjugahama is located on the west side of Lake Chuzenji in Oku Nikko. In June， pink flowers of Japanese primrose bloom at Senjugahama， creating a very calm and secluded atmosphere. The area with Senjugahama is a nature conservation area， so ordinary cars are not allowed in. You can visit here by Lake Chuzenji Cruise (Limited service to Senjugahama) or by the Oku Nikko low-emission bus.
