ASOBUILD is an experience-based entertainment complex directly connected to Yokohama Station. The complex was produced to offer excitement through hands-on experiences. For that purpose, each floor has its own theme such as state-of-the-art technology, Japanese craftsmanship, kids, and so forth.

Located in one of Yokohama City's largest green areas, this facility allows visitors to experience nature while walking through a rich forest. Visitors are able to become familiar with insects and wild birds. Admission is free.

The illumination seen from the bottom of the mountain is also fantastic, with the area around the park being painted in pink. Kawazu cherry blossoms bloom in February. Hakusekiinari Shrine, lined with red and white torii gates, constructs a beautiful harmony with the temple grounds filled with flowers and a tunnel of torii gates and the surrounding mountains. In 1966, the temple enshrined the spirit of the Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto. Rows of more than 50 torii gates are rare on the Miura Peninsula.

A long standing dye shop established in 1833, where craftsmen of the Edo Bakufu worked. The Tairyo-bata of Misaki is one of the Top 100 Picks of Kanagawa’s Local Specialties. Each and every one of the flags are handmade with traditional techniques passed down from the Edo Period and is used not only to celebrate a new ship, but other happy events such as marriage, childbirth, children’s festivals, and one’s 60th birthday. Fondly known as “the temple of flowers” and “the temple of the kappa (a mystical water-dwelling creature),” Jousenji is home to flowers that bloom splendidly in each of the four seasons throughout the entire year. In particular, the “trident of spring” and the “white equinox flower of autumn” are famous. Numerous kappa are positioned in the grounds in random places so that visitors can enjoy them together with the flowers.

Spots where Mt. Fuji is visible across the sea are rare even in Japan. The Enoshima area, one of those rare spots, is known for its beautiful views of Mt. Fuji where it appears quite large, especially on sunny winter days. Recommended viewpoints include Enoshima, as well as points between Katase-Enoshima Station and Enoshima; for example, Enoshima Bentenbashi Bridge, Nishihama Beach, and Kugenuma Beach. An area with lots of vintage bars about a 1-minute walk from Yokosuka-chuo Station. It’s packed with about 70 shops including long-established snack bars, karaoke bars, and Japanese-style pubs with great food. This place is also known as the birthplace of the Yokosuka Brassiere, a cocktail of brandy cut with ginger ale.

The Iwaikaigan Summer Festival is also designated as an important traditional cultural event of Manazuru Town. The Manazuru Summer Color Festival is held in conjunction with this festival. The festival features lantern floating, fireworks over the sea, Bon Odori dancing, and food and drink booths, allowing visitors to enjoy the nostalgic traditions of Manazuru Town on a summer night.

Based on the concept of "enjoying learning and being well prepared", you can learn the importance of helping by experiencing earthquake tremors, firefighting, evacuation from smoke, and other simulated disasters. Yugawara Onsen is famous for being taken up in the Man'yoshu, Japanese classic book. Hot spring Ryokan, "The Ryokan Tokyo" was visited by many Meiji and Taisho cultural figures. This ryokan is a 'Cool' hot spring onsen remixed with the contemporary culture and the old Onsen culture from Nara era. Tatoos are allowed here.

A pleasant green waterfront park. On the premises there is the Sail Training Ship Nippon Maru, symbol of Yokohama Port, and the Yokohama Port Museum, where you can learn about the history of Yokohama Port. The first dock, where the Nippon Maru is moored and preserved, is a nationally designated important cultural property, along with the sailing ship itself.
