Negishi Forest Park was established in 1866 as the first permanent facility in Japan where Western-style horse racing was held and sponsored by a foreigner's club. It was the largest racecourse in the East and was always crowded with people until it closed in 1943 due to the war. It was later opened in 1977 as a forest park and featured a large lawn at its center. Come watch the four seasons pass with the changing foliage. The park becomes especially crowded during cherry blossom season.Negishi Park is a happening place during cherry blossom season, however, no matter what time of year you need to visit the Equine Museum of Japan. This museum is not only about history, but also houses the imperial carriage and many retired racehorses.

Meigetsu-in Temple in Kita-Kamakura is also known as The Temple of Hydrangeas. For hydrangea season around June, many people flock here to view approximately 2,500 hydrangeas. The hydrangeas planted at Meigetsu-in are all a uniform blue color, dubbed "Meigetsu-in Blue."Visitors can admire the dry zen garden year-round. It is said to represent the mythical Buddhist Mount Shumi.The inner garden hosts a beautiful variety of shrubbery and foliage, and is beautiful all year round. Visitors can only enter the garden twice a year — otherwise, they can only get a peek of the garden through the Main Hall's Window of Enlightenment.The window of enlightenment is a circular window that can be seen when looking into the Main Hall. This window is said to symbolize enlightenment, reality, and the vastness of the universe.Lined with tatami, the minimalistic main hall fills visitors with a sense of calm, and perfectly frames the Window of Enlightenment.

Mikasa Park, selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Urban Parks and Japan's Top 100 Historical Parks, is Yokosuka's representative park. This is Japan's first urban circulatory ropeway, connecting JR Sakuragi-cho Station and the Canal Park in the Shinko District. The ropeway travels 630 meters each way in about five minutes, and each gondola holds up to eight passengers. The highest point of the ropeway is about 40 meters above sea level, offering a wonderful view.

Founded in 1868, this is the only sake brewery in Hadano City, Kanagawa Prefecture. In addition to the traditional "Shirasasa Tsutsumi " and "Sasano-Tsuyu" sake, the brewery also produces the famous "Mozart" series of sake, in which Mozart is played by the koji mold. Sake brewery tours are available by advance reservation.  In addition to the old-fashioned Shirasasa Tsutsumi and the original Sasanosu sake, this brewery mixes modernity and tradition in its sake production. Ayase Shortbread won the Excellent Confectionery award in the 25th Kanagawa Excellent Products Exhibition, a sweets competition. This adorable shortbread uses Ayase’s famed roses and specialty pork as a motif.

Kamakura Hanko is a Japanese seal that lasts a lifetime, made in the former capital of Kamakura. We recommend the 'Tsuki No Kisou In', or the lucky moon seal, which has been made using traditional techniques and is considered to be a good luck charm.

An orchard located within Fujisawa City. We offer fruit-picking experiences, as well as direct sales and home delivery. Plums can be picked in May, whereas pears, grapes, Japanese pears, persimmons, figs, and other fruits can be picked from August to December.

This prefectural nature park consists of three low mountains, and hiking can be enjoyed throughout the four seasons. The view from the observatory extends from Sagami Bay to Mt. Fuji, and has been selected by the Kanto Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism as one of the "100 Best Views of Fujimi in Kanto". In spring, the park is famous for its cherry blossoms, with over 1,400 cherry trees in bloom, and in 1994 it was selected as one of the "100 Best Places for Flowers in Kanagawa".
