The Ayu Matsuri Grand Fireworks Display is held on the first night of the festival, and the viewing area and the firework launch site are close together so that visitors can enjoy the powerful fireworks. The number of fireworks launched is one of the most in the prefecture, at about 10,000, and the finale, the Niagara, is a must-see. The fireworks festival takes place on the first night of the Atsugi Ayu Matsuri held over two days on the first Saturday and Sunday of August every year. The varied program features about 10,000 fireworks. Paid seating is available from one month in advance.

The largest and widest beach on the Miura Peninsula is close to the station, and during peak season it is crowded with many beachgoers, including families. In August, the "Miura Kaigan Noryo Matsuri Fireworks Festival" is held, and every year hundreds of thousands of tourists are intoxicated by the large flowers that color the summer night sky. With Tsukui Beach to the north and Kikuna Beach to the south, it is the largest beach on the Tokyo Bay side of the Miura Peninsula.

This is Japan's first urban circulatory ropeway, connecting JR Sakuragi-cho Station and the Canal Park in the Shinko District. The ropeway travels 630 meters each way in about five minutes, and each gondola holds up to eight passengers. The highest point of the ropeway is about 40 meters above sea level, offering a wonderful view.

The Kamakura Seaside Park faces the coastlines of Yuigahama Beach and Inamuragasaki. Our roller coaster "Bandet" runs through the forest at a maximum speed of 110 kilometers per hour, perfect for the adult thrill-seeker. The scenery is spectacular from the highest point, standing at 51m from the ground. The main Yokohama Central Wholesale Market is open to the public on the first and third Saturday of each month from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Visitors can purchase marine products, produce, cooking utensils, and more. Fun events are also held.

From the observatory, you can enjoy the night view of Yokohama Bay Bridge, Marine Tower, and Honmoku Pier. Bench seating makes it an ideal meeting place.The Yokohama Bay Bridge is lit blue from 40 meters to the top of the main tower for 10 minutes every 20 to 30 minutes and every 50 minutes until midnight.
