Atsugi Ayu Matsuri

The Ayu Matsuri Grand Fireworks Display is held on the first night of the festival, and the viewing area and the firework launch site are close together so that visitors can enjoy the powerful fireworks. The number of fireworks launched is one of the most in the prefecture, at about 10,000, and the finale, the Niagara, is a must-see. The fireworks festival takes place on the first night of the Atsugi Ayu Matsuri held over two days on the first Saturday and Sunday of August every year. The varied program features about 10,000 fireworks. Paid seating is available from one month in advance.

A planetarium dome theater with Japan's first LED dome system, "DYNAVISION®-LED." Experience "healing" and "comfort" in the starry sky and full-dome images. We have a limited number of premium "planet seats" available (only four available). We hope you'll enjoy the experience, almost as if you are floating in space. We also offer a cafe and shop on the premises, with original snacks and drinks which aren't just delicious, but also fun to look at. Why not enjoy your experience more with your chosen drink or snack on hand? Our gift shop, "Gallery Planetaria," has items themed around the stars and space, most of which are only available here. Miura Beach

Miura Beach

The largest and widest beach on the Miura Peninsula is close to the station, and during peak season it is crowded with many beachgoers, including families. In August, the "Miura Kaigan Noryo Matsuri Fireworks Festival" is held, and every year hundreds of thousands of tourists are intoxicated by the large flowers that color the summer night sky. With Tsukui Beach to the north and Kikuna Beach to the south, it is the largest beach on the Tokyo Bay side of the Miura Peninsula.

The Kamakura Seaside Park faces the coastlines of Yuigahama Beach and Inamuragasaki. The area is divided into three districts: The Yuigahama area with an open grassy square and playground equipment, the Inamuragasaki area which is a historical site with an observation deck, and the Sakanoshita area which is right by the sea. Loved by many people, the area offers views of Izu Oshima Island and the Izu Peninsula on sunny days. The Inamuragasaki area makes use of the natural geography and has an open grassy lawn where visitors can enjoy beautiful views. In the winter, Mt Fuji is sometimes visible in the background behind views of Enoshima. It is also a designated historical site well known for the legendary story of Nitta Yoshisada’s campaign.

Yomiuri Land

Our amusement park is full of attractions both children and adults can enjoy. Our roller coaster "Bandet" runs through the forest at a maximum speed of 110 kilometers per hour, perfect for the adult thrill-seeker. The scenery is spectacular from the highest point, standing at 51m from the ground. We also have an attraction called "Wandet" for the children still not able to ride the adult rides, as well as a children's pool open in summer. Please check the website for the latest information.
