The Tsubaki Line refers to the Kanagawa Prefectural Road No. 75 Yugawara Hakone Sengokuhara Line. At “Tsubaki-dai,” chosen as one of Kanagawa’s 50 most beautiful sights, there is a small plateau in the middle of the Tsubaki Line that connects Oku Yugawara Onsen and Daikanzan. There are many camellia trees growing along the Tsubaki Line, and the viewing season is from February to April.

This aquarium boasts a fantastic location with Sagami Bay stretching out in front of the aquairum, Japan's highest mountain, Mt. Fuji, to the right, and the scenic Enoshima Island to the left. It centers around the theme of "Sagami Bay and the Pacific Ocean", featuring many of the local creatures. This ancient shrine is said to have been built over 2,000 years ago. As a sacred site revered by many warlords, such as those who partook in rainmaking rituals, and pilgrimages to the shrine became very popular during the Edo period. We recommend the Mount Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station as it is lively with lots of gift shops. It is famous for its beautiful view of Lake Kawaguchi. Fuji Subaru is a toll road (Round trip: 2000 yen).

Located on the mountain top of Kamakura Mountain, Fueda Park is a park where you can interact with nature. As there is a walking path, while enjoying the greenery of Kamakura Mountain, it is possible to head towards Shichirigahama. When the weather is nice, you can see Mount Fuji.

Fondly known as “the temple of flowers” and “the temple of the kappa (a mystical water-dwelling creature),” Jousenji is home to flowers that bloom splendidly in each of the four seasons throughout the entire year. In particular, the “trident of spring” and the “white equinox flower of autumn” are famous. Numerous kappa are positioned in the grounds in random places so that visitors can enjoy them together with the flowers.

Located in Kanaijima, in the northern part of Kaisei Town, this old private house has a history spanning over 300 years. It was built by the Seto family, a family who served as the head of Kanaijima for generations during the Edo period. You can experience using a kamado (a traditional Japanese stove) and hearth here. We also have a fermentation-themed cafe, a shop selling local vegetables, and a shop selling ice cream made with local specialties.

This museum exhibits works created by master craftsmen of Hakone Yosegi-Zaiku (Hakone marquetry), a traditional Hakone craft. Inside the exhibition room, you can actually touch and play with works with mechanisms such as secret boxes. Why not try your hand at becoming a craftman yourself? Hands-on workshops are also available for you to create your own Hakone Yosegi-Zaigku pieces like secret boxes, coasters, and train-shaped piggy banks.

Kureha Ecology Management Wastech Kanagawa incinerates waste to both render it harmless and reduce its volume while simutaniously generating electricity using the heat from waste incineration, thus supplying surplus power to the local community. In addition, efforts to attain decarbonization are being made through various initiatives, including maximized power generation efforts, energy conservation within the plant, and transition to carbon-free electricity and fuel for plant operations. Visitors can tour each step of the process, from waste reception to crushing, incineration, and post-incineration residue treatment. Factory tours are available for groups of 10 or more.

Koajiro Forest is said to be the only natural environment in Kanto where you can find an entire river basin connecting the forest to swamps/mud flats and the sea. Starting with the red-clawed crab living in the forest, many living organisms make up a diverse ecosystem. As you walk along the path from the forest to the mudflats, you can observe the changes in the natural environment.

There are 5000 hydrangeas in this rice paddy area the size of 3.6 Tokyo Domes. Enjoy a leisurely walk as you take in the sights of the fields green with the newly planted rice, and the vibrant colours of the blooming hydrangeas. One of the highlights is the Hydrangea Pond in the main venue, Hydrangea Park, where approximately 2,000 hydrangeas float on the water.

The Hakone Tozan Line connecting Odawara and Gora boasts over 130 years of history, dating back to when the company was known as the Odawara Horse-drawn Railway.
