Fukumotokan / Nanasawa Onsen (Hot Springs Day Trip)
The room in which the representative author of Japan’s proletarian literature, novelist Kobayashi Takiji, secretly resided, is still preserved as it was at that time, with a small bowl, a foot warmer, a tea cupboard and a padded kimono. Yoshiike is proud of its hot springs, boasting 6 in-house sources and an abundant flow of hot water of up to 720 liters per minute. The elaborately designed large public bath, the garden-like open-air bath, and the relaxing private bath are all filled with 100% private hot spring water. On the ryokan's premises, there is a 10,000 tsubo (about 355,800 square feet) pond garden, "Sangetsu-en," a cherry blossom light-up event, "Light Garden," as well as firefly and autumn leaf seasonal events. Ashinoko Camp Village
Spanning 64,925 square meters, Ashinoko Camp Village is a beautiful camping site located on the shore of Lake Ashi (Ashinoko), Kanagawa. Visitors can stay in a private cabin, equipped with a fully-furnished kitchen, a toilet and bath, and six beds. Alternatively spend a night under the stars at the camping grounds, with necessary facilities conveniently located nearby. Visitors are also welcome to use the campsite’s barbequing grounds, where food items can be brought, or purchased from the Camp Village’s set menu. Of course, late-night snacks and drinks are readily available at the campsite’s in-house convenience store and the multiple vending machines located around the campsite. The campsite also offers rental bicycles, so guests can conveniently move around and explore beyond the campsite. JINYA is a traditional Japanese style ryokan that owns a 10,000 Tsubo (1 Tsubo = 3.3 m2) garden and stands there with its back against Tanzawa Mountains. The ryokan has traditions and 100 years of rich history. Rich dishes of the season and hot spring that well up from deep under the ground of Tanzawa Mountains will be provided to its guests.If you feel like moving your body after unwinding in the hot springs, be sure to check out nearby One Park. The park is about a 15 minute walk from the ryokan and features a heated pool, tennis court, sports plaza, and skating ground. After you have had your fill of physical activity, head back to Jinya and resume your relaxation!
