Japan Open Air Folk House Museum
Located 30 minutes from Tokyo and 40 minutes by car from Haneda Airport, this municipal Japanese folklore park in the northern part of Kawasaki City is an outdoor museum that features 25 structures, including traditional Japanese houses, watermills, and Kabuki stages. The buildings are scattered amongst a lush green environment, and you can enjoy the nature of all four seasons. Popular events are also held at the traditional folk houses. In one of the facilities, the traditional crafts building, you can experience indigo dyeing.A gasshō-zukuri house with tall, steep roof and home to the Yamashita family known for their silkworm cultivation and fire farming on the mountain slopes.Similar to the Yamashita House, there was also space under the floors used for the manufacturer of gunpowder.Silkworms were raised in the large attic and papermaking took place on one of the earthen-floored areas.This house was used as both farmhouse and a dye-house.

Kishamichi Promenade
A promenade made by overhauling a dead track used by the former Japan National Railways that opened in 1911. It consists of three bridges connecting the Nihonmaru Memorial Park to the Shinko area. Skyscrapers of the Minatomirai area can be viewed from this 500-meter long boardwalk. Rubblework constructed at the time of the opening of the railways, a US-made railroad bridge and other historical structures are left in their original places. The Unga Park located at the end of Kisha Michi in the Shinko area has a plaza facing the promenade.
Yokohama Anpanman Children’s Museum
The Yokohama Anpanman Children's Museum is a theme park based on the hugely popular children's show, "Anpanman". The third floor of the museum recreates familiar scenes from the anime, such as Uncle Jam's Bakery and the Anpanman Mobile, allowing parents and children both to experience the world of Anpanman together. Visitors can also enjoy daily stage shows and character greetings from Anpanman and his friends. The first floor, which is free for all guests, has shops selling limited edition goods and food, as well as restaurants, so you can enjoy both shopping and dining. This indoor facility is perfect for outings with your children, especially when you don't want to worry about the weather!

Nestled in Gora Park’s charming nature, Hakone Crafthouse is a facility that sells traditional Hakone crafts and offers hands-on workshops. Select from an array of classes—including glassblowing, pottery making, sandblasting, kiriko glassmaking, lampwork bead making, jewelry bead making, and pottery painting—and create a one-of-a-kind, personalized piece of art. Thanks to its diverse range of experiences, Hakone Crafthouse is a fun and educational place for people of all ages. The facility even offers assistance in English.While you can take some crafts home on the same day, others require additional work and will be shipped to you at a later date. The facility offers both domestic and international shipping (for an additional fee).Hakone Crafthouse’s shop, Komamonoya Hakone, sells locally produced glass and pottery products, including traditional Hakone crafts, making it a wonderful place to pick up a souvenir that complements your handmade one.
Tsukiyomi Shrine
The shrine was founded in 1534 as a place to pray for bountiful harvests from the spirit of the Tsukiyominomiya Shrine. Later Kumano, Hakusan, and Hie Shrines were combined for Aso Shrine before reverting back to Tsukiyominomiya Shrine.

The “BANDAI NAMCO Cross Store” is a “touchpoint” where you can see, touch, and experience the characters, products, events, food, drink, and many other things developed by the BANDAI NAMCO Group company. “Crossing through” the facilities will provide a new entertainment experience. An ume (plum) specialty store originating from the Chinryutei restaurant, a restaurant founded in 1873 by the last head chef of Odawara Castle. We sell umeboshi (pickled plum), processed ume products, ume sweets, and umeshu (plum wine). With more than just the old-fashioned sour and salty umeboshi, we offer 10 different types for you to try, with samples available in-store. We also offer non-ume products locally to Kanagawa Prefecture, including yaezakura and red perilla, as well as baked sweets using lemons and cherry blossoms from Odawara. Our "ume brownie" is our most popular item and is often featured in the media. We are extremely proud of our lineup of umeshu-based products, made with love with local ingredients.

KOTOWA KAMAKURA TSURUGAOKAKAIKAN
Located 5 minutes on foot from Kamakura Station, KOTOWA Kamakura Tsurugaoka Kaikan is situated along Wakamiyaoji Street and Dankazura pathway. In spring, cherry blossoms abound in front of the hall. It is an excellent venue for compiling a travel itinerary and strolling around tourist spots such as Tsuruoka Hachimangu Shrine and Komachi-dori.
