One of the few white sand beaches on Miura Peninsula. In 1945 (Showa 29), the first Godzilla appeared on this beach and its footprints are still left.

Rinkokaku is a complex of three wooden buildings that served as a state guest house for VIPs. The main building was constructed in 1884 and is an exemplary instance of Japanese architecture at the beginning of Japan's modernization. The complex overlooks the Tone River from its location next to Maebashi Park, which is particularly popular for its cherry blossoms in spring. The Rinkokaku annex, built in 1910, continues to be used for receptions today.

This hot spring theme park consists of two areas: The "Yunessan" area where visitors can have fun in swimsuits, and the "Morinoyu" area where they can relax and enjoy hot spring baths in the nude. The park also features an authentic coffee bath, an open-air bath with a spectacular view, a flowing pool, and the only water slide in Hakone. Visitors can also experience the mysterious sensation of a "doctor fish footbath", all in the comfort of a bathing suit. The "Morinoyu" area boasts a landscaped open-air bath with a view of the Hakone mountain peaks. Private baths have been added and are getting ever popular. It is loved by people of all ages and was selected as one of Kanagawa's top 100 specialties. Due to its wide range of medicinal effects, many anecdotes have been spread about the medicinal uiro, including the "Kabuki Uirouri.” The traditional eight-building structure is worth seeing. The museum is in an old storehouse and exhibits different craft items (admission is free and includes a guide). You can also enjoy handmade seasonal Japanese sweets in the sweets shop.

The Tsubaki Line refers to the Kanagawa Prefectural Road No. 75 Yugawara Hakone Sengokuhara Line. At “Tsubaki-dai,” chosen as one of Kanagawa’s 50 most beautiful sights, there is a small plateau in the middle of the Tsubaki Line that connects Oku Yugawara Onsen and Daikanzan. There are many camellia trees growing along the Tsubaki Line, and the viewing season is from February to April.

This museum exhibits works created by master craftsmen of Hakone Yosegi-Zaiku (Hakone marquetry), a traditional Hakone craft. Inside the exhibition room, you can actually touch and play with works with mechanisms such as secret boxes. Why not try your hand at becoming a craftman yourself? Hands-on workshops are also available for you to create your own Hakone Yosegi-Zaigku pieces like secret boxes, coasters, and train-shaped piggy banks.

A festival unique to this hot spring area where hot spring water is thrown over four mikoshi (portable shrines) as they are paraded through the hot spring town. One of the four mikoshi has open recruitment for those who want to experience being a mikoshi-bearer, so check it out.

Located on the mountain top of Kamakura Mountain, Fueda Park is a park where you can interact with nature. As there is a walking path, while enjoying the greenery of Kamakura Mountain, it is possible to head towards Shichirigahama. When the weather is nice, you can see Mount Fuji.
