This is the temple of Soto School of Zen Buddhism, and one of the Eight Deities of Good Fortune of Odawara.

The ascent to the summit of Gyojadake is a series of small ascents and descents. The summit of Mt. Gyoja is narrow and not suitable for groups resting. A stone statue of En no Gyoja (En no Gyoja) used to be placed on the summit, but it has been damaged by the wind and rain. On December 17th and 18th, the first daruma fair of the season in the Kanto Region is held at Iizumizan Shōfuku-ji Temple, the 5th amulet issuing temple of the Bando Sanjusankasho. Park where flowers can be enjoyed throughout the year. With a theme of "Creating a Lifestyle Culture of Flowers and Greenery" we opened in 1995 (Heisei 7) with the aim to create a fun flower garden. Johotsugan-ji temple, established by the ascetic Mokujiki monk Tanzei Shonin, is the main temple of the Tanzei sect of Tendai Buddhism.

Hiratsuka city is known for its specialty craft, "Soshu Daruma". Arai Daruma Store has continued to handcraft these daruma one by one, preserving traditional techniques of production. You can also experience Daruma painting and coloring here.

A beautiful park with a fountain, stone pavements and flowerbeds, having a surface area of approximately 13,000 square meters. The name derives from the fact that the Italian consulate was located here during the Meiji period. One can view the verdant Yamate area from the lookout on the hill. Two western houses, the Diplomat’s House and the Bluff 18 Ban-Kan have been rebuilt here.

When Genji made their way to Kanto area, they worshipped their god here in this shrine.

The fifth of the Five Great Mountains(temples) of Kamakura, Jpmyoji temple is a Buddhism temple belonging to the Kenchoji school of Rinzai Zen. There is a beautiful rock garden with a Japanese atmosphere. At the Kama Garden Terrace, you can enjoy the view of the garden while enjoying a cup of tea.
