The Night Time Illumination of Mt. Oyama is held from mid to late November each year. Visitors can enjoy magnificent red leaves on Mt. Oyama as well as a sweeping views of the surrounding area that stretches out to Sagami Bay.The illuminations will take place on weekdays from sunset until 7pm, and on weekends and holidays from sunset until 8pm.

On the way to the summit from the main slope, you are able to view Mount Fuji on a clear day.Early morning trekking allows you to enjoy a special experience with fewer people and clear air.

The stone bridge in front of the San-no-torii gate is called Taiko-bashi. Built in 1182, this bridge spans the center of Genpei-ike Pond, which divides into east and west.

This is a 330-meter long reverse arch bridge connecting the Toriihara area and the lakeside area over the Miyagase Dam. It has been selected as one of the 100 best bridges in Kanagawa, and the view from Toriihara Park is spectacular!

This course starts at JR Yokosuka Station and passes through Verny Park, Mikasa Park, Umikaze Park, and the Yokosuka Museum of Art on the way to Keikyu Uraga Station. The salty air feels great, and even beginning cyclists can enjoy this course with peace of mind due to plenty of rest and bathroom facilities. Art lovers will also enjoy the art galleries and museums along this approximately 15km course.

A large-scale Christmas tree that stands on the lakeside. About 200,000 visitors will come to see the Christmas tree every year. The tree is decorated with about 10,000 lights.

This park is located along the Hikiji River. In the spring, you can see a variety of flowers, including cherry blossoms, azaleas, and wisteria trellises. There is also a parking lot, so you can get out of your car and enjoy cherry blossom viewing right away!

Niju Falls, also called "Amagoi-no-taki" is one of Oyama's six waterfalls and is believed to call the rain.

This shopping arcade is composed of around 130 shops with over 90 years of history. Under the catchphrase of “cool old town Yokohamabashi”, it is also popular with non-Japanese residents of the local area. Mt. Nabewari, or Nabewariyama, (1,273 meters above sea level), sits nestled within the Tanzawa mountains of Kanagawa Prefecture and is a popular climbing spot for its beautiful mountain views and local specialty, "nabeyaki" udon noodles. Many climbers aim for the summit in the clear morning air. The trail is diverse and offers spectacular seasonal views such as fresh greenery, autumn leaves, and icy mist in winter. From the summit, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Mount Fuji and Sagami Bay, giving you a great sense of accomplishment.
