Mt. Nabewari, or Nabewariyama, (1,273 meters above sea level), sits nestled within the Tanzawa mountains of Kanagawa Prefecture and is a popular climbing spot for its beautiful mountain views and local specialty, "nabeyaki" udon noodles. Many climbers aim for the summit in the clear morning air. The trail is diverse and offers spectacular seasonal views such as fresh greenery, autumn leaves, and icy mist in winter. From the summit, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Mount Fuji and Sagami Bay, giving you a great sense of accomplishment. The hot "nabeyaki" udon noodles served at the mountain lodge are a blissful treat that will relieve climbers of their fatigue. From beginners to experienced climbers, Mt. Nabewari offers something for everyone. Ichinoyu

Ichinoyu

A long-standing inn housed in a four-story sukiya-style wood building in Hakone Onsen. This inn, overflowing with the romance of travel, also offers guest rooms with their own private open air roten (with a view) baths through which hot spring water flows. All of the rooms face Hayakawa Valley, allowing you to enjoy the unique nature of Hakone in all four seasons. This location was designated a National Designated Tangible Cultural Property in 2009, and it is certified as a building that contributes to the historical landscape.

Hiratsuka Offshore Experiment Tower (University of Tokyo Ocean Alliance)

Hiratsuka Offshore Comprehensive Experiment Tower is a marine and meteorological observation and oceanographic experiment platform installed in waters 1km off the coast of Hiratsuka, at a depth of 20m. Managed and operated by the University of Tokyo, the tower is used by various domestic and international research institutions as well as private equities for marine experiments. Easily identifed as the massive yellow structure visible from Hiratsuka Beach and in Ryujogaoka along National Route 134, it is nicknamed the "Hiratsuka Tower". Some visitors even paddle out to sea on standing paddleboards to get a close-up view!

Gandenji Temple

Gandenji Temple

Legend has it that this old temple was founded by two Buddhist priests, Tokudo and Gyoki. It's also the 2nd temple of "The Bando 33 Kannon Pilgrimage". When you pass the temple gate, there is a stone tablet inscribed with the writings of Izumi Kyoka; on the left side of the main hall, the principal image of the eleven-faced Kannon is enshrined. If you climb the 130 stone steps from there, you'll find the old Kannon hall on a hill, from which you can enjoy a magnificent view of the entire area.

Enoshima Yacht Harbor

Enoshima Yacht Harbor opened for yachting events for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. Since its opening, though being one of the few public yacht habors in Japan, it has contributed to the spreading of yacht activities. It is the venue for sailing at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.While on Enoshima Island make sure to visit the Yacht Harbor Building to learn all about the Yachting World Cup, the 1964 Tokyo Olympics and the upcomng 2020 Tokyo Olympics' yacht competition.
