This is Japan's first urban circulatory ropeway, connecting JR Sakuragi-cho Station and the Canal Park in the Shinko District. The ropeway travels 630 meters each way in about five minutes, and each gondola holds up to eight passengers. The highest point of the ropeway is about 40 meters above sea level, offering a wonderful view.

The Kannonsaki Lighthouse is Japan's first Western-style lighthouse, designed by the Frenchman, F.L. Verny. He was invited in 1977 from his home country as a foreign engineer and pioneer of Western culture in Japan. The lighthouse collapsed later in an earthquake and was rebuilt, with the current being the third version. Located in the scenic Kannonsaki Park, it features views of boats sailing in Tokyo Bay, as well as the Boso Peninsula on the opposite shore. Located in the center of Yokohama’s Chinatown, in front of the Tencho-mon gate, stands the eight-story entertainment unit Yokohama Daisekai. Based on Shanghai Daska, it was created as part of the 30th anniversary of friendship between the two cities, recreating the entertainment zone of China’s pulsating metropolis in the bayside city of Yokohama.Filled with souvenirs from Chinatown and the wider city of Yokohama, Daska Market hosts a bunch of thrilling goodies on the first and second floors, including a Hello Kitty store.On the third floor is a food court where you can feast on an array of delicious Chinese dishes, while a section of beauty and health services is found on the fourth. A facility where you can enjoy learning about the history and nutrition of “kamaboko” (a type of cured surimi, a processed seafood product common in Japanese cuisine) through hands-on exhibits. Seiryu no Sato lends visitors a space to relax while taking in the rich nature of the Sagami River and the changing seasons.
