Atop a small hill, this Kawasaki City-operated zoo is free to enter and open year-round. Visitors can observe roughly 50 species of animals up close, including red pandas, lemurs, and even animals rarely see in Japan, such as Hartmann's mountain zebras and the large-horned markhor! Aquatic creatures are also a big hit, like Humboldt penguins and Chilean flamingos. Inside the zoo there are open spaces and playground equipment, making it the perfect spot to relax and spend time with young children.

SNOVA SHIN-YOKOHAMA

SNOVA SHIN-YOKOHAMA

SNOVA SHIN-YOKOHAMA is an indoor skiing ground where you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding all year round. The course has an overall length of 60 m, width of 30 m, and a gradient of 10 to 14 degrees. A full-scale half pipe, large and small ramps are provided in spite of its size. This is the course that anyone can enjoy, from beginners to ones aiming to be a professional. A moving walkway will help you get to the upper part of the slope easily. The temperature is set 3 degrees below zero throughout the year, so you can go skiing and snowboarding even in summer. Anyone can go to SNOVA whenever he/she wants without preparation, becase they have ski wear and ski/snowboard equipment rental service. Skiing/snowboarding school are offered to beginners, so it is a perfect place for getting started before the peak season.

Orange Floral Farm

Orange Floral Farm

This orchard practices organic cultivation without using any pesticides, nurtured by the sea breeze from Sagami Bay and abundant sunlight. From late November to early June, visitors can enjoy lemon picking, sweet summer oranges, and BBQ. The adjoining "Cafe Farm to Dish" offers fresh organic citrus fruits and vegetables from the orchard, fresh fish from the sea around Manazuru, and other delicious local ingredients. Both locations are open by reservation only so you can spend a relaxing time at your own pace. Please check our website for details.

Oi Agricultural Experience Facility Shiki no Sato

Shiki no Sato (Village of Four Seasons) is a facility surrounded by nature where you can have first-hand agricultural experiences. It is a place where urban residents and locals can mingle and use it as a base facility for experiencing work by hand, such as rice planting, rice harvesting, making pizza from scratch, etc. You can purchase freshly picked local fresh vegetables and special products at the Shiki no Sato shop on grounds of the facility.

Yokohama Strawberry Park

Yokohama Strawberry Park

We reopened as Yokohama Strawberry Park on April 23rd, 2022, with a new reservation system and only open on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. We allow you to enjoy fresh, delicious strawberries regardless of the season. The strawberries at our facility are carefully grown by people with disabilities under the guidance of strawberry cultivation experts. You can enjoy our strawberry juice and parfait, which both use strawberries harvested at our facility, at our cafe, which can be used without a reservation.
