Nakagawa Hot Spring

Nakagawa Onsen is a mountain hot spring resort that is close to Lake Tanzawa, it has a long history. There is a legend that about 400 years ago, Takeda Shingen helped a soldier recover who was injured in a battle with Hojo Ujiyasu by bathing in this hot spring, therefore it is also called "Shingen's secret bath". It is a simple hot spring with the water quality high in PH, it is said to be effective for gastrointestinal diseases, neuralgia, rheumatism, hypertension, recovery of wounds, etc. It is also said to be good for your skin, it is widely known as a "beauty bath" that makes your skin smooth.

Approximately 10,000 pieces of artwork including folkcrafts from across the country, Japanese local toys, western paintings, Japanese paintings, sculptures, cutout pictures, books, ink paintings, and ceramics are displayed behind the front desk on the first floor. The owner of the hotel collected these materials in 1951 and Atsugi Museum Hotel is the only local place in the central area of Kanagawa to have this kind of collection.

Ichinoyu

Ichinoyu

A long-standing inn housed in a four-story sukiya-style wood building in Hakone Onsen. This inn, overflowing with the romance of travel, also offers guest rooms with their own private open air roten (with a view) baths through which hot spring water flows. All of the rooms face Hayakawa Valley, allowing you to enjoy the unique nature of Hakone in all four seasons. This location was designated a National Designated Tangible Cultural Property in 2009, and it is certified as a building that contributes to the historical landscape.
