"Furusato Miya Festival," the biggest summer festival of Utsunomiya City, holds on the first weekend on August every year. It began on 1976 to celebrate 80th anniversary of Utsunomiya City, and became a symbol of the city.   Under the theme of " Meet and Connect," a variety of events will color the summer in Utsunomiya, including dances, Japanese drums, Ohayashi performances, Miyakko parade by children, and Mikoshi (portable shrine) performances, all centering on the main street of Utsunomiya.

The main Yokohama Central Wholesale Market is open to the public on the first and third Saturday of each month from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Visitors can purchase marine products, produce, cooking utensils, and more. Fun events are also held.

Prefectural Aikawa Park is located on a river terrace directly below the Miyagase Dam. The 51-hectare expanse includes the "Flower Slope," where 44,000 colorful azaleas of 40 varieties bloom all over in spring, and "Wind Hill," which offers an excellent view of the Yokohama Landmark on a clear day! You'll be amazed by the impressive scenery from all seasons! In addition, the "Adventure Forest" and the "Fluffy Dome" are equipped with large playground equipment that allow children to play all day long, and during the water season, the "Jabu-Jabu Pond" is filled with the sound of children's cheers all year round. From April to November, the park is used as a base for observing the dynamic discharge of the Miyagase Dam, and the "Ai-chan-go" road train, popular with children, runs from in front of the Park Center to below the dam. The "Craft Workshop Village" in the park is operated as a base for disseminating information on the traditional crafts of the local town of Aikawa to the rest of the prefecture and beyond, as well as a place to increase local interest and promote interaction between visitors and the community through creative experiences that allow visitors to come into contact with traditional crafts. Our gray kangaroo walk-through exhibit allows visitors to walk through and observe them up close. At the "Familiar Life Museum," we preserve the natural environment in and around the lush garden, a place where children and adults alike can learn about animals, from insects to small mammals. The adjoining Kanazawa Nature Park has a 100m roller slide which is popular with children, and a BBQ area.The zoo will extend its opening hours on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays in August, and will hold a special summer evening event where the zoo will open to the public at night, an experience otherwise unavailable to the public. The zoo will be decked out with projection mapping and bamboo lanterns, and visitors will be given a chance to experience a view of the animals at night, more active than in the daytime!

Narukawa Art Museum stands by the Ashinoko in Hakone, surrounded by trees. It was opened to the public in 1988. They have a collection of more than 4,000 works specializing in modern Japanese paintings. They have about 150 pieces of works by Gakuto Yamamoto, who has won an award for culture. An ume (plum) specialty store originating from the Chinryutei restaurant, a restaurant founded in 1873 by the last head chef of Odawara Castle. We sell umeboshi (pickled plum), processed ume products, ume sweets, and umeshu (plum wine). With more than just the old-fashioned sour and salty umeboshi, we offer 10 different types for you to try, with samples available in-store. We also offer non-ume products locally to Kanagawa Prefecture, including yaezakura and red perilla, as well as baked sweets using lemons and cherry blossoms from Odawara. "Kawasui Kawasaki Aquarium" is a new type of nature entertainment aquarium where you can enjoy walking around the world's waterfronts. Under the theme of "beautiful waterfronts around the world," our exhibits use the latest lighting, sound, and video technology to show creatures living in different environments around the world, including the Tama River in Kawasaki, Asia, Africa, and the rainforests of the Amazon in South America. We also have various paid attractions, such as the backyard tour, where our crew guides you behind the scenes of the aquarium, the children's backyard tour (recommended for children of elementary age and younger), and "Amazon Time," where you can experience feeding capybaras.

The birthplace of Japan’s modern social movements, preserving the legacy of Shozo TanakaLocated in Konaka-cho, Sano City, the "Tanaka Shozo's Former House" is a Tochigi Prefecture-designated historical site and the birthplace of Shozo Tanaka. He was a politician who dedicated his life to protecting the people from the Ashio Copper Mine Pollution Incident, advocating for environmental conservation and human rights. Known as one of Japan’s earliest social activists, he devoted himself to supporting the weak and voicing opposition to injustice. The house, built in the late 19th century, still retains its original thatched-roof style. It is open to the public as a memorial site. Inside, materials and exhibits related to the Ashio Copper Mine Pollution Incident are displayed, along with detailed explanations that help visitors learn about Tanaka’s life and activities. Shozo Tanaka donated all his property to his hometown before passing away, dedicating himself to agricultural education and revitalization, embodying the spirit of selfless devotion.

A railway museum that both adults and children can enjoy. Exhibits of the Odakyu Line cars (from the opening to the present day) and the "romance cars" are very popular photo spots. We also offer other experiences, including the "Romance Car Simulator," where you can enjoy a driving simulation in a real train driver's seat, and the "Kid's Romance Car Park." Our "Diorama Park" reproduces the Odakyu line from Shinjuku to Odawara, Hakone, and Enoshima. The giant diorama truly is a masterpiece, with about 190㎡ using both retired and presently active cars and features original songs and projection mapping. The cafe attached to the museum is free to enter and relax in. Conveniently located next to Ebina Station on the Odakyu Line, it is a museum that can be enjoyed by train enthusiasts, families, friends, and couples.

An orchard located within Fujisawa City. We offer fruit-picking experiences, as well as direct sales and home delivery. Plums can be picked in May, whereas pears, grapes, Japanese pears, persimmons, figs, and other fruits can be picked from August to December.

This shrine was built to commemorate Ninomiya Sontoku who was born in Odawara and made all efforts to revitalize the villages everywhere. It is located near Odawara Castle, there are plenty of delicious restaurants and cafes. This is the shrine collecting all the things and events of that area.
