Nissan Heritage Collection

The tour includes the viewing of historic and valuable Nissan cars. There are old cars from the 1930s, like production cars, historic race cars, Nissan street motorcycles, off-road vehicles, and other vintage vehicles. The museum owns around 400 memorial vehicles, with 300 of them on display. ・No smoking in the building ・Do not take photos of the building outside ・Try not to touch the cars. Nogeyama Zoological Gardens

Nogeyama Zoological Gardens

Since its opening in the 26th year of the Showa period (1951), Nogeyama Zoological Gardens has been popular as a familiar zoo. Admission is free and the zoo has a long history of breeding approximately 65 species of animals.The zoo will extend its opening hours on Saturdays and Sundays in August, and will hold a special summer evening event where the zoo will open to the public at night, an experience otherwise unavailable to the public. Visitors can enjoy a different view of the zoo at night when the zoo is decorated with illuminations and the animals are more active!

Aikawa Park

Aikawa Park

Prefectural Aikawa Park is located on a river terrace directly below the Miyagase Dam. The 51-hectare expanse includes the "Flower Slope," where 44,000 colorful azaleas of 40 varieties bloom all over in spring, and "Wind Hill," which offers an excellent view of the Yokohama Landmark on a clear day! You'll be amazed by the impressive scenery from all seasons! In addition, the "Adventure Forest" and the "Fluffy Dome" are equipped with large playground equipment that allow children to play all day long, and during the water season, the "Jabu-Jabu Pond" is filled with the sound of children's cheers all year round. From April to November, the park is used as a base for observing the dynamic discharge of the Miyagase Dam, and the "Ai-chan-go" road train, popular with children, runs from in front of the Park Center to below the dam. The "Craft Workshop Village" in the park is operated as a base for disseminating information on the traditional crafts of the local town of Aikawa to the rest of the prefecture and beyond, as well as a place to increase local interest and promote interaction between visitors and the community through creative experiences that allow visitors to come into contact with traditional crafts. Yokohama Night Flowers is an event that transforms Yokohama’s night sky into an exciting celebration of color. This multi-month event features five-minute fireworks shows one to three times a month at Yokohama Port. The kaleidoscope of colors sparkle on the bay and shine above the cityscape, making for a mesmerizing night out—perfect for couples, friends, and families! As the name suggests, the fireworks bloom before you, like flowers in the sky.The time and launch point of the fireworks (Osanbashi or Shinko Pier) vary depending on the day.
