Ichijo Ekan Sanso Villa, a nationall designated Important Cultural Property villa with sukiya-style architecture, is surrounded by its beautiful garden, a space where hydrangeas, autumn foliage, red pines, and moss thrive. With the murmuring of the Nameri River flowing nearby and the chirping of wild birds, it is a lush Japanese garden where you can enjoy Japan's four seasons with all five senses. There is also a cafe within the garden where you can enjoy seasonal Japanese sweets. Tours of the villa are held regularly (advance reservations required so please check the website).

Kamakura earthen pot restaurant Kaedena is in Hase, Kamakura. It serves you special earthen pot Japanese menu. At lunch time "Donabe gohan", rice menu will be cooked in the earthen pots. They serve for each guest an earthen pot cooked rice in slowly cooked seaweed broth. The rice are from contracted farmer in Shinoyama, Tanba, Hyougo prefecture. Located next-door to the Hakone Tokaido Museum, Amazake Chaya Teahouse has been in business for 12 successive generations since it was established in the Edo era. They serve homemade, all-natural, sugar-free amazake, a sweet drink made from fermented rice, and hand-pounded, char-grilled bincho mochi rice cakes, which are very soft and tasty. Experience the time-honored delicacies that the travelers passing along the steep mountain highway enjoyed years ago in the rustic grass-thatched teahouse.

At Ninomiya (a shop inside the Ninomiya Town Tourism Association) we have local products and foods made from olives, peanuts, onions, and shiitake mushrooms, which are specialities of Ninomiya Town. We also offer small souvenirs for visitors and local people, and we have tourist posters and postcards, Azumayama badges, original products from the Tourism Association, and goods from the town's official characters Nino and Miya.

Kanei Sake Brewery

Kanei Sake Brewery

Founded in 1868, this is the only sake brewery in Hadano City, Kanagawa Prefecture. In addition to the traditional "Shirasasa Tsutsumi " and "Sasano-Tsuyu" sake, the brewery also produces the famous "Mozart" series of sake, in which Mozart is played by the koji mold. Sake brewery tours are available by advance reservation.  In addition to the old-fashioned Shirasasa Tsutsumi and the original Sasanosu sake, this brewery mixes modernity and tradition in its sake production. Experience the famous Mozart series, in which koji mold ferments while listening to Mozart. Advance reservations for sake brewery tours are available.

Kibune Festival

Kibune Festival

Kibune Shrine’s Kibune Festival, set in Manazuru, is considered one of Japan’s three major ship festivals and occurs annually in late July. It is designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property.During this two-day event, numerous boats—including one carrying a mikoshi (portable shrine)—are adorned with vibrant flower decorations and towed by oar-operated boats called Kaidenma in Manazuru Port. Both the daytime and illuminated nighttime visuals, which are accompanied by traditional songs and instruments, are mesmerizing. Manazuru celebrates this festival for prosperity in fishing and good health.The festival also features traditional Kashima dancing and mikoshi processions. It is a unique cultural experience you won’t want to miss!
