This shrine is located within the grounds of Wakamiya Hachimangu in Kawasaki-ku. The sacred body is a metal phallus, also called “Kanamara-sama” ("god of the devilish metal penis"), and is believed to be a guardian deity for both giving birth and illnesses that affect the lower body. A unique mikoshi is paraded at the Kanamara Festival in spring.

This museum exhibits works created by master craftsmen of Hakone Yosegi-Zaiku (Hakone marquetry), a traditional Hakone craft. Inside the exhibition room, you can actually touch and play with works with mechanisms such as secret boxes. Why not try your hand at becoming a craftman yourself? Hands-on workshops are also available for you to create your own Hakone Yosegi-Zaigku pieces like secret boxes, coasters, and train-shaped piggy banks.

Located in Miyamae-ku, Kawasaki City, this is the only prefectural park in Kawasaki City. It is home to a Kanagawa Prefecture natural treasure, a Japanese white oak forest, and the Higashitakane Ruins (ancient lawn square), which are the remains of a Yayoi Period settlement. Soji-ji is the main temple of the Soto sect and one of the largest temples in the Kanto region. Originally located in Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture, it was relocated to Tsurumi in 1911, and contains vast grounds featuring architectural complexes, including the Daseido. Visitors may explore the grounds freely, with the halls of the temple also open to visitors under the supervision of monks. *A 1-hour round-trip course. ※ The experience contains a Zen meditation session in English and vegetarian food tasting. Places for viewing the auditorium on the temple grounds may be restricted due to infectious disease control measures.A temple located in Tsurumigaoka, a scenic place with views of the sacred Mt. On December 17th and 18th, the first daruma fair of the season in the Kanto Region is held at Iizumizan Shōfuku-ji Temple, the 5th amulet issuing temple of the Bando Sanjusankasho. The daruma-selling stores line the temple grounds and bustle with families. Those who attend pray for business prosperity and the wellbeing of their families.

Yugawara Onsen is famous for being taken up in the Man'yoshu, Japanese classic book. Hot spring Ryokan, "The Ryokan Tokyo" was visited by many Meiji and Taisho cultural figures. This ryokan is a 'Cool' hot spring onsen remixed with the contemporary culture and the old Onsen culture from Nara era. Tatoos are allowed here.

A gymnasium that served as a model for the popular manga, Slam Dunk. Though as a work site the railroad in front of Kamakura High School is famous, it was the Akibadai Gymnasium that served as the model for the venue for the games.

A facility where you can enjoy learning about the history and nutrition of “kamaboko” (a type of cured surimi, a processed seafood product common in Japanese cuisine) through hands-on exhibits. You can observe the skills of the kamaboko craftsmen through the glass (closed on Wednesdays), and there is also a kamaboko and chikuwa handmade experience class under the guidance of craftsmen (reservation required).

This bell was crafted based on the Enoshima love story of the celestial maiden and the five-headed dragon. Young people and couples visit to ring the bell in hopes to share in the legend's fortune. The fence underneath the bell is covered with countless padlocks attached by lovers. To top it off, the view from the bell is spectacular, and on clear days, you can see as far as Izu Oshima.

From their collection of roughly 200 engines, the Nissan Engine Museum permanently displays 28 engines representing Nissan Motor Company, allowing visitors to view engines from throughout Nissan's history and the very engines that made strides in racing. The museum building itself originated as Building No. 1 of the Yokohama Plant in 1934, which served as the company headquarters until its relocation to Ginza, Tokyo, in 1968. The building was designated as a Historic Building by Yokohama City in 2002 and was recognized as a Modern Industrial Heritage Site by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2007.

These remains consist of three empty moats: the east moat, the west moat, and the middle moat, which is now a road. The east moat, which is the best preserved of the period, is approximately 20 to 30m wide and 12m deep from the top of the earthen mound, and the slope of the moat is as steep as 50 degrees, making it one of the largest empty moats in Japan.

The shrine is located on a small hill to the west of the main Tsurugaoka Hachiman Shrine. The oldest shrine pavilion on the grounds dates from the Muromachi period, and is surrounded by red flags dedicated by many people wishing for prosperous business.

Meigetsu-in Temple in Kita-Kamakura is also known as The Temple of Hydrangeas. For hydrangea season around June, many people flock here to view approximately 2,500 hydrangeas. The hydrangeas planted at Meigetsu-in are all a uniform blue color, dubbed "Meigetsu-in Blue."Visitors can admire the dry zen garden year-round. It is said to represent the mythical Buddhist Mount Shumi.The inner garden hosts a beautiful variety of shrubbery and foliage, and is beautiful all year round. Visitors can only enter the garden twice a year — otherwise, they can only get a peek of the garden through the Main Hall's Window of Enlightenment.The window of enlightenment is a circular window that can be seen when looking into the Main Hall. This window is said to symbolize enlightenment, reality, and the vastness of the universe.Lined with tatami, the minimalistic main hall fills visitors with a sense of calm, and perfectly frames the Window of Enlightenment.

Imado shrine is known as the one which has the first welcoming cat "Maneki Neko" in Edo era. There are two welcoming cats in front of the shrine. Many people who want good luck in love come here.

You can visit the shrine from early in the morning; this is also the time when it is less crowded. The Nakamise (street market) is also a fun place to walk around after visiting the shrine.

The shrine is the Sochinju (local Shinto deity) of Yokohama, and worships Amaterasu Oomikami (Sun Goddess). It's known for "Oise-san (Ise Jingu Shrine) in Kanto" region. The cherry blossom beside the stairs leads to the grounds is beautiful.
