Since its founding in 1900, Kamakura Ham Tomioka Co. has continued to maintain its painstaking manufacturing techniques for over a century. Their headquarters factory has an archive where you can learn about the story and history behind the creation of the brand, and in the factory itself, you can view the treasured traditional manufacturing techniques they use. You can also experience those techniques with your own hands. There is also a shop where you can purchase souvenirs before you head home.

This orchard practices organic cultivation without using any pesticides, nurtured by the sea breeze from Sagami Bay and abundant sunlight. From late November to early June, visitors can enjoy lemon picking, sweet summer oranges, and BBQ. The adjoining "Cafe Farm to Dish" offers fresh organic citrus fruits and vegetables from the orchard, fresh fish from the sea around Manazuru, and other delicious local ingredients. Located at the entrance of Enoshima, Enoshima Island Spa is a hot spring facility with a natural hot spring and spa pool. It is situated in a great location with views of the sea of Shonan and Mt. Fuji on a clear day. The hotel building opened within a two-minute walk from the island in April 2020, allowing what was previously a day trip facility to cater to staying guests. Founded in 1857, Izumibashi Sake Brewery is not only a sake brewery but also a cultivator of rice. We see sake as an agricultural by-product, and make sake by growing good rice first.The rice paddies glittering with morning sunshine remind you of a good old Japanese morning. The main steamed fish paste store has been set up in the eaves, and you can walk around freely without walls or fences. The street used to be a fish market, and it features rows of more than 30 stores, which are not limited to steamed fish paste stores but also include dried fish stores, dried bonito flake stores, restaurants, shops serving food and drink, and Japanese confectionary stores.

On December 6th the Yamabushi (ascetic monks) in their traditional clothing pray for peace and tranquility across the country. They carry out Yamabushi-Mondou, a Buddhist ceremony in which questions in relation to Buddhism are both asked and answered.After this, they participate in the Hiwatari (fire-crossing) Ceremony, which involves the monks walking over glowing embers and praying for sound health. Firefighters, workers of the thermal power generation industry, and people of other fire-related professions come to this shrine both to worship and buy ofuda (amulets).
Mount Oyama has long been firmly believed to be a mountain of spirits. During the most prosperous period of Edo, 200,000 people were recorded to visit this mountain every year. Back then, shrine visiting, beginning with the pilgrimages to Ise Shrine, was extremely popular among the people. Among the many travel destinations, Oyama was loved by many for being only two or three days away from the cities of Edo. A popular route was to have fun at Enoshima after visiting Oyama. This sight was portrayed in the classic rakugo, Oyama Mairi. In April 2016, Oyama Mairi qualified as a Japanese heritage.
The largest and widest beach on the Miura Peninsula is close to the station, and during peak season it is crowded with many beachgoers, including families. In August, the "Miura Kaigan Noryo Matsuri Fireworks Festival" is held, and every year hundreds of thousands of tourists are intoxicated by the large flowers that color the summer night sky. With Tsukui Beach to the north and Kikuna Beach to the south, it is the largest beach on the Tokyo Bay side of the Miura Peninsula.
