Kamakura Hanko is a Japanese seal that lasts a lifetime, made in the former capital of Kamakura. We recommend the 'Tsuki No Kisou In', or the lucky moon seal, which has been made using traditional techniques and is considered to be a good luck charm.

The temple offers Zen meditation programs with English guidance and sutra copying experiences, and also serves powdered green tea. Many international visitors come to experience Zen and Japanese culture. (Reservation required)

Shops from all over the country offer antique folk implements from the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa periods, as well as calligraphy, paintings, hanging scrolls, porcelain replicas, crafts, vintage fabrics, and Western antiques. The Kanagawa Yamato Antique Market is sure to satisfy everyone from beginners to collectors. Many foreign visitors also visit. The market is open from 7am to 4pm, rain or shine.

Situated in the Yamate area, next to our off-site private chapel, Yamate Helen Memorial Church. The former home of our hotel owner, The Rose Residence provides an at-home and personal environment that can host up to 70 guests.

The Nishimon Shopping Street is located south of Sagamihara Station on the JR Yokohama Line and is home to Taro Okamoto's "Red Hand Blue Hand" sculptures.

This Tourist Boat Terminal serves as the departure and arrival point for cruises such as the "Red Brick Café Cruise" and the "Night Factory Jungle Cruise". It is approximately a 15-minute walk from Bashamichi Station or Nihon-Odori Station.

Rossa Berry is a tourist farm that offers strawberry-picking. It is located by National Route 293, halfway between the Oya area, which has been registered as a Japan Heritage Site, and the famous roadside station Romantic Village. It grows Tochigi strawberry breeds such as Tochi-Aika and has a shop and a café. The shop sells strawberries from the farm and their original processed products. After having fun picking strawberries, enjoy gelato and smoothies in the shop’s café space. At Rossa Berry, the strawberry-picking season runs from the end of December to early June the following year. Please come and experience picking beautiful jewelry-like strawberries that have ripened in abundance throughout the greenhouse.

KAMAYA ~Café du Reverbere~ is a café restaurant. Dishes made with Mae Nikko Wagyu and Nikko Pork, and homemade sweets using strawberries produced in Nikko are popular here. There are also halal and vegan dishes. Renovated from a bank, the restaurant is designed as a retro-style café terrace with street lamps. It is only a one minute-walk away from the Tobu-nikko station, which is the gateway to the Nikko area. The restaurant mainly uses hand-picked local ingredients, including yuba, a specialty in Nikko. Most dishes served here are gluten-free. The restaurant’s recommendations are “NIKKO Donburi,” a rice bowl topped with a generous amount of local Mae Nikko Wagyu roast beef, and “THE NIKKO Hamburger Steak Set Using Mae Nikko Wagyu and Nikko Pork.” Both are popular dishes served daily while quantities last.

Koraizan Park, which includes Shonandaira, is a scenic park bordering Hiratsuka City and Oiso Town, and consists of the "Shonandaira Zone" where visitors can enjoy spectacular views and the "Sengenzan Zone" where they can enjoy pure nature. The park has also been designated as one of the "50 Best Scenic Spots in Kanagawa," "50 Best Parks in Kanagawa," "100 Best Places for Flowers in Kanagawa," "100 Best Night Views," "Eight Views of Hiratsuka," and many others.

Sanoya is a Japanese sweet shop that sells seasonal Japanese sweets. Its signature sweet ‘Oyama Koma Monaka’ has the status of being a designated confectionary of the Kanagawa Prefecture. ‘Oyama Koma Monaka’ has a 300-year history and has been known as one of the best souvenirs to bring back from visiting Oyama Afuri Shrine. Since the firm axis of Koma-shaped ‘Oyama Koma Monaka’ signifies the steady circulation of money and its round shape signifies affability, ‘Oyama Koma Monaka’ has been loved by visitors as a sweet that brings good luck, and is bought as a wedding gift, baby gift or housewarming gift.

The whole of Cape Kannonzaki is maintained as a park and there, you can find an art museum with scenic landscapes and the Kannonzaki Lighthouse where you can enjoy a view of the Boso Peninsula. There are also wartime ruins you can visit the whole year round, and in summer, you can spend a day at the beach or enjoy a delicious barbecue. This place is also famous for its hydrangeas, and is selected as one of Kanagawa’s Top 100 Flower Spots.

Be sure to check out Shuyukan, Izumibashi Shuzo Brewery's on-site shop and pick up limited items only available here! In March 2025, this store located in an old storehouse was renovated to add a dining area. You'll want to try the "Rice Flour Pizza", made with rice flour produced during the rice polishing process, along with tasing sets, and more. Visitors can enjoy enjoy the cintunously broastcast videos about rice production and sake brewing, adding an extra depth to the experience by allowing you to see, taste, and experience Izumibashi's cultivation and brewing firsthand. English videos are also available.

Around 300 Koinobori, carp-shaped wind socks, in different sizes, in the air above the Suzugawa River. There will be stalls and other entertainment that both kids and adults can enjoy.

From olden days, this place was known as “Yorogi (Yurugi, Koyurugi, Koyorogi) Beach” and has appeared in many poems, including the following anthologies: Man’yoshu, Kokin Wakashū and Shin Kokin Wakashū. After the Meiji period, this place has become a place of relaxation with many financial giants and great writers building their villas here.
