The name "Ishigaki-yama" comes from Hideyoshi Toyotomi, who built a castle in 1590 with a fully stone wall as his headquarters during the siege of Odawara Castle. It is a national park area and also a designated national historic site.

Yudate Kagura is a traditional event was handed down in 1776. While the Shinto ritual of yudate exists throughout Japan, it is not so common for it be carried out by a lion. Praying for sound health, peace and prosperity in the household, and bumper crops, the lion stirs boiling water with bamboo grass, and purifies the worshippers by sprinkling them with the water, warding off pestilence. While being selected as a national Intangible Folk Cultural Property, it is also designated as Yudate Shishimai, an Important Intangible Cultural Property of Kanagawa Prefecture.

The shumai dumplings from Kiyoken are known as a famous food of Yokohama. At the Yokohama factory, you are able to tour their shumai and o-bento lunchbox production lines. The tour takes approximately 90 minutes. On this tour, you can learn about the history of the popular Ekiben lunch boxes and learn the secret to producing the delicious shumai o-bento lunch boxes. Through the glass, you can witness the important manufacturing process. Why not enjoy something that can only be enjoyed at this particular place? There is also a mini-museum shop in the factory where you can eat freshly cooked shumai and buy souvenirs.

This dam is situated in the northwestern part of the prefecture, near Higashitanzawa and is the largest gravitational concrete dam in the Greater Tokyo Area. There is a 6 minute long release of water from April through November, every Wednesday, the second and fourth Friday of the month, and every second Sunday of the month. At our farm stand, in addition to fresh shiitake and kikurage mushrooms, we offer a variety of processed products, including tsukudani, caramel popcorn, and potato chips made with dried shiitake powder, and pasta kits packaged in collaboration with welfare facilities.

The festival of flying kites in Zama started in the Edo period as an event to celebrate Boys' Festival. Every year on May 4th and 5th, the Ookite Festival, selected as one of Kanagawa's 50 best festivals, is held and a 13 square metre kite is flown by 100 people.

Itsukushima Shissei Park, in Kanagawa Prefecture, was built to restore and preserve wetland (which is considered rare because of the freshwater produced there). Inside the park, there is a large pond surrounded by greenery. There is a wooden walkway that stretches over the pond, and visitors can freely walk on it whilst enjoying the surrounding plants. Fireflies can be spotted over the pond in summer, which makes the park a popular spot for firefly viewing.

Founded by Gyoki in 716, this temple has a history of 1,300 years. Since the Middle Ages, it has been a sacred place for medicinal practitioners, and is known as Hinata Yakushi, one of the three most famous Yakushi in Japan. The temple also holds one of Japan's greatest treasure houses, with numerous statues of Buddha designated as nationally important cultural properties that bear witness to its history. It is also famous for higanbana (cluster amaryllis), which grows in clusters around Hinata Yakushi from mid-September to early October, making it a popular tourist attraction. It was founded in the early Muromachi period as a branch temple of Kencho-ji Temple in Kamakura, inheriting the remains of Kannondo and Kiyomizu-dera. The Kannondo, the Nio-mon Gate, the Nio Guardians and the ema plates are tangible cultural properties designated by Ebina City.
