It was founded in the early Muromachi period as a branch temple of Kencho-ji Temple in Kamakura, inheriting the remains of Kannondo and Kiyomizu-dera. The Kannondo, the Nio-mon Gate, the Nio Guardians and the ema plates are tangible cultural properties designated by Ebina City. Since it is on a hill, it has a nice view, you can have a nice view of Oyama if the weather is sunny. There are various plants in the precincts, which you can enjoy all year.

Shiki no Sato (Village of Four Seasons) is a facility surrounded by nature where you can have first-hand agricultural experiences. It is a place where urban residents and locals can mingle and use it as a base facility for experiencing work by hand, such as rice planting, rice harvesting, making pizza from scratch, etc. You can purchase freshly picked local fresh vegetables and special products at the Shiki no Sato shop on grounds of the facility.

Built around 30 years ago, this residence is situated almost halfway between the Great Buddha of Kamakura and Hase Kannon. An expansive lawn garden enclosed by dignified fences and gates occupies an area of around 1,300 square meters. It can be used for experiencing Japanese culture and staging dinner parties, garden parties, and so on.

Founded in 1394 by Soto Zen monk Ryoan Emyo Zenji, this ancient temple is a Soto sect training center renowned as one of the sect's three major prayer temples. Its natural beauty changes with the seasons, with its autumn foliage illuminated at night for seasonal viewing. Prayer services, zazen meditation experiences, and shojin-ryori vegetarian cuisine are available (reservation required). Temple legends feature tengu (mountain bird-like goblins), and the main hall enshrines the world's largest iron geta (wooden clogs).A unique aspect of this temple is its larger than life geta. These wooden sandals are left out for the tengu, winged spirits, that guard the temple grounds. The shoes vary in size, and some are even as tall as humans. Be sure not to miss this popular photography spot!One of the most sacred places in the Kanto region. Zen meditation sessions are held every second and fourth Sunday and Buddhist statue carving lessons every second and fourth Saturday of the month. There are spiritual spot tours around the grounds and other events as well.

We reopened as Yokohama Strawberry Park on April 23rd, 2022, with a new reservation system and only open on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. We allow you to enjoy fresh, delicious strawberries regardless of the season. The strawberries at our facility are carefully grown by people with disabilities under the guidance of strawberry cultivation experts. You can enjoy our strawberry juice and parfait, which both use strawberries harvested at our facility, at our cafe, which can be used without a reservation.

The shrine enshrines Okuninushi no Mikoto, the deity of Izumo Taisha, Shimane Prefecture. It formally became a branch of the Izumo Taisha sect in 1888. It has a unique wooden shrine building that combines Taisha-zukuri and Gongen-zukuri styles and features a long hall called the "Winged Hall". The shrine itself is known as the "Izumo of Kanto" and features the 1,000-year-old zelkova tree, which towers over the grounds rich in nature, and the famous Hadano spring. The Yuzuri no Mizu (Yuzuri Water) drawn from 50m below the forest is also very popular among visitors (it is drinkable, and health inspections are carried out yearly). Seasonal events are often held, and many worshippers come throughout the year, as well as visitors for Goshuin (shrine stamps). (Free parking available for up to 130 cars. Revered as Sochinju (central place to pray for local gods), Matsubara Shrine had been worshipped by successive castellans of Odawara Castle which includes lords of Odawara Hojo Clan in the Sengoku period.

Maedagawa is a clean stream that is 1.4 km long with evergreen and deciduous trees surrounding it. There are many wild birds and water creatures and is a rare promenade in the Kanto area. It is also a part of the hiking course leading up to Mount Ogusu. *Partially closed

Since its founding in 1900, Kamakura Ham Tomioka Co. has continued to maintain its painstaking manufacturing techniques for over a century. Their headquarters factory has an archive where you can learn about the story and history behind the creation of the brand, and in the factory itself, you can view the treasured traditional manufacturing techniques they use. You can also experience those techniques with your own hands. There is also a shop where you can purchase souvenirs before you head home.

People of all ages can enjoy the experience of improving "unwellness" through three concepts: "food" that gathers the blessings of nature, "exercise" that regulates the body, and "healing" that opens up the five senses.

Located at Shinnase Beach in Hayama, Kanagawa, Hayama Ocean Sports offers year-round standup paddleboarding (SUP) lessons. But these aren’t just any ordinary SUP lessons. While paddling, students get to enjoy a picturesque view of Mount Fuji. The nearby Najima Island, a small island with a torii gate, can also be seen. The 2-hour classes are kept to a small number and are led by instructors with over 10 years of SUP-teaching experience. Instructors closely guide participants through the basics for about an hour and a half, before students are given free time to paddle on their own. Included in the package are required SUP equipment, a wet suit, as well as a life vest. Participants are also welcome to use the shower facilities inside the clubhouse after the session. If you’re looking to try your hand at a new water sport, try out a SUP lesson with Hayama Ocean Sports. And if you need a break, you could always take one on your board and appreciate Mount Fuji’s beautiful silhouette.

You will walk on the road along the mountain fields. From Kotakuji Onsen, you will walk on the forest trail and see the impressive waterfall, Ogama Benzaiten, and then enter the mountain trail. After passing the curved path, you will hike up a ridge that ascends 400 meters of Hinata-yama.

The former Hirobumi Ito Kanazawa Villa in Nojima Park is a building with a thatched roof built in 1898 by Hirobumi Ito, a man who served as the first Prime Minister of Japan. The villa features views of Hakkeijima and the sea.
