We reopened as Yokohama Strawberry Park on April 23rd, 2022, with a new reservation system and only open on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. We allow you to enjoy fresh, delicious strawberries regardless of the season. The strawberries at our facility are carefully grown by people with disabilities under the guidance of strawberry cultivation experts. You can enjoy our strawberry juice and parfait, which both use strawberries harvested at our facility, at our cafe, which can be used without a reservation.

OCEANS.Club is a stand up paddle surfing SUP school. We also lend out supplies.

The largest arcade in the East was built in 1956 in the temple town home to Yokohama's oldest ancient temple, Gumyoji Kannon. Nowadays, it is surrounded by two stations and is loved by many people due to its environment, particularly the cherry blossom promenade on the Ooka River, which runs through the center of the shopping district.

This plantation, where you can harvest produce by hand, was opened to the public out of a desire to let others experience both joy of farming firsthand and the deliciousness of fresh vegetables. Fruits and vegetables grown with utmost care fill the plantation from end to end. By harvesting them yourself, you will experience a truly meaningful flavor when you eat them. The plantation also has a store where they sell produce.

Situated in the Yamate area, next to our off-site private chapel, Yamate Helen Memorial Church. The former home of our hotel owner, The Rose Residence provides an at-home and personal environment that can host up to 70 guests.

It was founded by Minamoto no Yoritomo to invite the spirits of Mishima Taisha and has a beautiful evening view, selected as one of the 50 most scenic spots in Kanagawa. It is said that during the reign of Emperor Tenji, when this area was developed by Futami Kaganosuke Shigeyuki, five deities—including Amaterasu Omikami—were enshrined here as the guardian shrine (sochinju) of the Doi region. Since then, the shrine has been deeply revered by the local community and continues to prosper as their tutelary deity.

Located close to the tip of the Miura Peninsula, Muneyoshi is a restaurant that uses locally-sourced seafood, including luscious Misaki tuna, to craft its exquisite menu. A store where you can experience making your own ume syrup and ume wine from 100 different combinations. There are also take-out drinks containing whole plums, "Choya Ume Kits" that you can make at home or in hotels, and store-specific plum wine that is popular as a souvenir. Reservations are required for the experience.

Haga Hot Spring and Roman Baths is a place where groups and individual visitors can casually enjoy a day at a hot spring.The color of the water that gushes forth from 1，500 meters below ground is a surprisingly gold hue.Another attractive feature is that there are two different hot springs to be enjoyed in one location. The first is good at keeping skin beautiful， making it soft and smooth. It is also known as a bijin no yu (Japanese for "beautiful person's hot spring"). The other spring has heat-retaining properties that help remove the cold within your body. It is also called an atatamari no yu ("warming hot spring"). The spa features open air baths， large public baths， massaging aerated baths， flowing water baths， and saunas. Other facilities include a lounge area， small Japanese-style rooms that can be used to host banquets， and more. The spa also holds beer gardens in the summer."

Watanabe Sahei Shoten is a family run brewery from 1842in Nikko. Their spirit that “Junmai Jyozosyu" is an authentic sake”. *”Junmai” is sake made only with rice, koji , and water *”Koji” is fungus which converts the starch from the rice into glucose Of course, we use Nikko’s natural grand water to make nice sake in Nikko’s very cold winter. After 120 years, the former British Embassy Villa opened its doors to the public as the British Embassy Villa Memorial Park on 1 July 2016. Ernest Satow, a British diplomat who contributed to Japan’s Meiji Restoration, built a private villa at the south bank of Lake Chuzenji in 1896. He loved Oku-Nikko, especially Lake Chuzenji as the area reminded him of the natural landscape of his home country. The villa was used as the British Embassy summer residence until 2008 before being donated to Tochigi prefecture in 2010 to be opened to the general public. In the early years of the villa, Satow’s friend Isabella Bird stayed here for a month and wrote of the impressive landscape of the villa. The British Embassy Villa Memorial Park presents exhibitions on British culture and the history of Oku-Nikko as an international summer resort. Visitors can immerse themselves in this historic setting while enjoying teatime in the villa (additional charges apply) and take in the picturesque view of Lake Chuzenji from the spacious veranda on the upper floor.

With a 400-year history， Ashio Copper Mine is a tourist attraction built out of the industrial remains of what used to be the largest copper mine in Japan. A trolley train transports visitors 700 metres underground to displays of the mine’s chronology and history and demonstrations of the harsh working conditions through life-like wax figures. You can learn more about this industrial property at the three on-site museums including the copper museum with displays of traditional copper processing methods. Then relax at the traditional cafe or enjoy a leisurely walk along the nearby Watarase River. Between 1610 and 1868， the copper mined here was an important resource for the prosperity of the nation. It was used to produce tiles for castles and shrines and was exported to China and the Netherlands. Among the coins of the years 1600 to 1867， coins produced in Ashio were known as “Ashiji-sen” with the Chinese character of “Ashi (foot)” on the back. Today the coin-shaped local Japanese sweet “Ashiji-sen Monaka” is a popular souvenir.

Being 2，000 metres above sea level， this marsh is the nation’s highest wetland and is known for its abundant alpine plants. In the wetland where spring comes late， July is the best time to view the alpine plants blossoming one after another. The grass starts to turn yellow in late August and the leaves paint the entire wetland flaming red in mid-September. Plants and trees are lightly dusted with snow in November and you can see the arrival of migratory birds. Enjoy the diverse nature of each and every one of the seasons!

The Somei Noh Stage, the oldest Noh stage in the Kanto region, was built in 1873 by the Maeda family, the former lord of the Kaga Domain, and opened in 1996. Various events are held with explanations to help beginners understand and unique planned performances and workshops, earning the stage the slogan “a Noh theater with a low threshold.” Once a month, we hold tours (advance reservation required) where the staff guides visitors through exhibits related to the history of the Nohgaku and the Noh stage, as well as private dressing rooms not normally accessible to the public. ※ Closed from January 2024 to June 2026 due to renovation work.
