The Communication Hall of Space Science and Exploration building is a visitor facility operated by the JAXA Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS). Visitors can see exhibits up-close, including an authentic M-V rocket that completed ground combustion tests, test models of scientific satellites, and displays related to the asteroid explorer "Hayabusa2". Founded by Gyoki in 716, this temple has a history of 1,300 years. Since the Middle Ages, it has been a sacred place for medicinal practitioners, and is known as Hinata Yakushi, one of the three most famous Yakushi in Japan. The temple also holds one of Japan's greatest treasure houses, with numerous statues of Buddha designated as nationally important cultural properties that bear witness to its history. It is also famous for higanbana (cluster amaryllis), which grows in clusters around Hinata Yakushi from mid-September to early October, making it a popular tourist attraction. Please come and visit Hinata Yakushi, a place rich in nature and full of attractions.

The former Hirobumi Ito Kanazawa Villa in Nojima Park is a building with a thatched roof built in 1898 by Hirobumi Ito, a man who served as the first Prime Minister of Japan. The villa features views of Hakkeijima and the sea.

It has been selected as one of Kanagawa's 100 flower viewing spots. In the area of about 1.6 kilometers, there are approximately 300 Somei-Yoshino trees planted and they are in full bloom in the spring. It is also the main venue for the Citizen Sakura Festival and during the blooming period, you can enjoy the cherry blossoms that are lit up at night. The Tsunashima Cherry Blossom Festival is held at Tsunashima Park, a 7-minute walk from Tsunashima Station, which can be accessed within 30 minutes from both Shibuya and Yokohama. Local neighborhood associations set up booths at the festival site, and the local shopping district provides a great deal of festival collaboration and fun. A flea market is also held, making the event atmosphere very lively. Performances such as traditional Japanese dances, koto playing, modern dance, awadori, and others can be enjoyed on the central stage. Please enjoy a gorgeous day here under the cherry blossoms in full bloom!

The house that was created in the Edo period remains as it is and there are many materials such as agricultural tools that help us understand the life of the rural people back then. Free tours are available and various events are held such as the Bamboo Lantern Festival in September. It is the first cultural asset that was registered in Yokohama City.

Saimyoji Temple, a temple of the Chizan school of Shingon Buddhism, is a famous temple known as Ryusyukuzan Kongoin Temple, which is said to have been founded by Jikaku Daishi or by Hojo Tokiyori. The temple was revered by the shogunate during the Edo period, and is also known for the enshrinement of Daikokuten, one of the seven gods of good fortune of Kawasaki.

It is about 19 hectares where they restore forests fallen into disrepair to familiar woodlands. They cooperate with volunteer organizations in thinning and other activities to keep trees and soil in proper condition and conserve forest management and habitat of organisms and plants. Previously located in the south of Hadano City, Minami Hadano Village, is home to many historic temples and shrines, as well as many spring water spots. Please feel free to visit the nine temples and shrines, some of which include the Seven Gods of Good Fortune plus cranes and turtles, to gather good fortune and enjoy a relaxing time. A special red seal map is available at each spot and at the Hadano Station Tourist Information Center, and visitors who collect all the red seal stamps on the map will receive a prize for completing the tour.

Fondly known as “the temple of flowers” and “the temple of the kappa (a mystical water-dwelling creature),” Jousenji is home to flowers that bloom splendidly in each of the four seasons throughout the entire year. In particular, the “trident of spring” and the “white equinox flower of autumn” are famous. Numerous kappa are positioned in the grounds in random places so that visitors can enjoy them together with the flowers.

With Mt. Oyama as a backdrop, the characteristic terraced fields and farmhouses with traditional residential forests are in perfect harmony, creating a view of livelihood and business that makes the most of the hilly terrain.

The Zama sunflower was established as the city flower of Zama City in 1969, and was selected as one of the "100 best places for flowers in Kanagawa" in 1994. A total of 550,000 flowers bloom over a total area of 5.5ha, and a sunflower festival is held every year.Add an artsy touch to your photos during the Kurihara festival by posing with props supplied by the festival. Model with picture frames and hats to immortalize the fun moment.

Lived in for more than 160 years since the Edo Period, this fully renovated old-style house is situated in the dignified Nikaido area, which has numerous historic spots in verdant surroundings. You can entertain guests in the luxurious sweet room and restaurant.

On the southern side of Matsuda-yama, there are many farmhouses where you can pick mandarin oranges. You can eat mandarin oranges while overlooking Mount Fuji. You can become an owner of a mandarin orange tree.

Drive in to Cape Manazuru located at the tip of the Manazuru Peninsula Prefectural Nature Park. From Cape Manzuru, you can enjoy a view of the Izu Peninsula, Shonan, Boso Peninsula and Izu Seven Islands. The panorama stretching out to the sea is a highlight not to be missed.

Chigogafuchi is selected as one of Kanagawa's 50 scenic spots. It is also a perfect fishing spot. The scenery of the sun setting at Mount Fuji is extraordinary. You can also play with rocks at the sea.
