This building houses YRP Hall and various conference and seminar rooms. YRP Hall, which can accommodate up to 270 people, has a spacious ceiling height of 4 meters and is equipped with large video equipment perfect for research presentations and international conferences, as well as audio-visual equipment, simultaneous interpretation booths, Wi-Fi, and other presentation amenities.

We recommend the Mount Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station as it is lively with lots of gift shops. It is famous for its beautiful view of Lake Kawaguchi. Fuji Subaru is a toll road (Round trip: 2000 yen).

The tradition of Yudate-kagura has been passed on since 1776. Spiritual rituals with the use of boiling water are performed throughout the country, but it is rare to see the performance done by the Shishi, a lion dog deity, as can be seen at this traditional event. Praying for health, safety, and prosperity the Shishi stirs the boiling water with a Kumazasa branch, and flick water from the branch to purify the participating spectators. This traditional event is selected as a National Traditional and Cultural Heritage event, as well as being registered as a Kanagawa prefecture important cultural heritage event.

On the southern side of Matsuda-yama, there are many farmhouses where you can pick mandarin oranges. You can eat mandarin oranges while overlooking Mount Fuji. You can become an owner of a mandarin orange tree.

Once you exit the ticket gate, you're already at the antique market. Approximately 300 treasure-shops await you! Shops from all over the country offer antique folk implements from the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa periods, as well as calligraphy, paintings, hanging scrolls, porcelain replicas, crafts, vintage fabrics, and Western antiques. The Kanagawa Yamato Antique Market is sure to satisfy everyone from beginners to collectors. Many foreign visitors also visit. The market is open from 7am to 4pm, rain or shine.

Chigogafuchi is selected as one of Kanagawa's 50 scenic spots. It is also a perfect fishing spot. The scenery of the sun setting at Mount Fuji is extraordinary. You can also play with rocks at the sea.

Stretching until the vicinity of the southern foot of Mount Kintoki and the northwestern foot of Mount Daigatake, the glimmering Silver Grass Plant Community is one of the sceneries representing Hakone in autumn. It is listed as one of the “Top 50 Scenic Spots in Kanagawa” and “Top 100 Flower Places in Kanagawa” and attracts many tourists every year.During the afternoon hours, when the sun is hidden behind the mountains, the silver grass is illuminated by the sun, creating a golden meadow. The Odawara Plum Festival is held from early February through early march each year. The Soga Plum Forest is the primary venue, and that is made up of three areas: Bessho, Hara, and Nakagawara. Each is operated primarily by the farmhouses that are located there. Bessho is the largest of the three, and features a citrus and vegetable stands, souvenirs, eateries, and more.

Kujientobunsui was registered tangible cultural property in 1998 (Heisei 10). It regulates the quantity of the water diversion utilizing principle of siphon. This building was created to make the main street of Noge more beautiful as a part of the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. It’s a prominent landmark of Noge. The bar street is an important part of the scenery that runs parallel to the Ooka River. Today, over 60 shops conduct business on the grounds. The Yokohama Heritage Association (Koueki Shadanhoujin Yokohama Rekishi Shisan Chousakai) manages the premises and it is currently designated as a Yokohama City Registered Historic Building.

This historical temple, which holds numerous cultural assets, was built in 829. The main hall has held numerous cultural events. The kitchen, which is a registered tangible cultural property, can hold meetings, receptions, etc., while the temple precincts can be used to stage outdoors events.

It is said that the 400 black pines by the levee up to the estuary were planted by Ninomiya Sontoku, an agricultural leader of the Edo era, with money he received as rewards from his nursemaid.
