Nasu Country Club opened in 1966. It is characterized by undulating greens that require strategic play. Otawara City holds the “Yoichi Festival” on the first Friday and Saturday in August every year. This festival is in honor of Nasu Yoichi, the most famous archer in Japanese history. Highlights of the festival is the samurai parade. An actor/actress would cosplay Nasu Yoichi and lead the parade walk around downtown. You can see a traditional dance named “Yoichi Buyo” at night when you walk on street during the festival.

Yakushiji Hachimangu Shrine is also referred to as "Hachiman for warding off misfortune and disaster" and attracts a large number of worshippers.It was also known as the patron saint of the Genji and is known as a shrine where prayers are answered as Minamoto no Yoriyoshi and Minamoto no Yoshiie pracyed for victory in battle there. The shrine has long served as a patron saint for successive feudal lords and a center of faith for the people."

From the Nakagawa River， the best clear stream in the Kanto area， to rivers in the world (Amazon River)， then to the Longing Sea (fish in coral reefs)， are introduced in approx. 60 water tanks， in various sizes from small to large. The attraction of the river， which the sea does not have， is definitely the sunlight shining deep through the water. A large amount of sunlight is taken in at the aquatic park， recreating the scenic riverbed. As natural light shines through the water， the fish actively swim in the aquarium， which is an attractive part of this park which cannot be experienced at a marine aquarium. There are many interactive areas as well， including touching tanks where visitors can encounter crayfish and starfish directly."

Emperor’s Memorial Park is a recreation of the former Shiobara Imperial Villa which was used as a summer resort for the imperial family. The villa was originally owned by Michitsune Mishima， the Governor of Tochigi Prefecture at that time， and was later offered to the Imperial Household Ministry in 1904. It was visited by Imperial family members including Emperors Meiji， Taisho and Showa and Princes Chichibu， Takamatsu and Mikasa. During the World War II， Princesses of Emperor Showa evacuated from Tokyo to this villa. After the war the villa was transferred to the Ministry of Welfare. Today， the Tenno-no-ma room， which was relocated to the current location in 1981， is open to the public with its beautiful garden. In the building there are a variety of materials that show the life of the Imperial household such as their stationeries， documents and photographs along with furnishings."

Senjugahama is located on the west side of Lake Chuzenji in Oku Nikko. In June， pink flowers of Japanese primrose bloom at Senjugahama， creating a very calm and secluded atmosphere. The area with Senjugahama is a nature conservation area， so ordinary cars are not allowed in. You can visit here by Lake Chuzenji Cruise (Limited service to Senjugahama) or by the Oku Nikko low-emission bus.  

This day-trip hot spring bathhouse is in Oyama City， Tochigi Prefecture. The baths are fed from a clear sodium chloride spring that is said to be effective for nerve pain， muscle soreness， and recovery from fatigue. Located in the eastern area of Tochigi， this Onsen snuggles into a bend of the Naka River. The simple alkaline hot spring water promotes smooth skin， for which the Onsen is known as the “hot spring of beauty”. Most of the hot spring baths in the area face west， leading to another nickname of “the sunset Onsen-kyo” thanks to the great sunset views. You can also have a splendid view of mountains with wisps of white smoke.

The Usuzumi Zakura of Neo, the Jindaizakura of Yamataka, and the Miharu Takizakura are known as Japan’s Three Great Cherry Trees. In addition to stalls run by local vendors, the festival features stage performances such as enka singing shows, appearances by manga characters, and rides on the “Shōnen Ressha” road train, making it a perfect spot for a family outing. The park also has a charming café called “10 Picnic Tables,” converted from an old farmhouse, offering a retro yet artsy atmosphere that contrasts with the main stage area. Visitors can enjoy delicious food while relaxing in a scenic, laid-back setting. Be sure to visit Tenpyo-no-Oka Park and experience the magic of cherry blossoms in full bloom.

Grim Forest(Grim no Mori) is a park themed after a forest in the German Grim's Fairy Tales. The Grim no Kan building， which houses a multipurpose hall， is based on the Rottingen government building. The exterior walls are brick and tile， Inside are collections related to the Brothers Grim's fairy tales from all around the world.All of the lighting and other fixtures are German products."

The Shirasagi Shrine enshrines Yamato Takeru， the son of the Emperor Keiko the 12th emperor of Japan who was enshrined in 783.During those ancient days， Yamato Takeru carried the sword Kusanagi and travelled throughout Japan， leading the country to peace. Legend says that as a result， his soul turned into a swan and he continues to protect peace still.The shrine is also home to Japan's largest votive picture at a width of 8m and a height of 4m， which is known a votive picture which grants wishes and bestows happiness."

Jao Falls is a waterfall which runs into the Kinugawa River located alongside Prefectural Highway Route 23.The long， thin stream of water looks like a snake， hence the waterfall’s name (“ja” means serpent， and “o” is king). It's surrounded by forest， and the scenery is especially beautiful during spring with its young leaves and when the foliage turns colors in the fall."
