Hiratsuka Offshore Experiment Tower (University of Tokyo Ocean Alliance)

Hiratsuka Offshore Comprehensive Experiment Tower is a marine and meteorological observation and oceanographic experiment platform installed in waters 1km off the coast of Hiratsuka, at a depth of 20m. Managed and operated by the University of Tokyo, the tower is used by various domestic and international research institutions as well as private equities for marine experiments. Easily identifed as the massive yellow structure visible from Hiratsuka Beach and in Ryujogaoka along National Route 134, it is nicknamed the "Hiratsuka Tower". Some visitors even paddle out to sea on standing paddleboards to get a close-up view!

Shonan Seine Ichigoromaru

This beach is located in Ninomiya Town, Kanagawa Prefecture. Enjoy a dragnet fishing experience at Sodegaura Beach, just a 7 minute walk from Ninomiya Station on the JR Tokaido Line. Thanks to its prime location, this dragnet fishing experience is widely used for company and community events, hands-on learning, and school trips. We provide thorough explanations so that even first-time visitors can feel at ease. It's as simple as pulling a rope in tug-of-war, making for an enjoyable experience from children to adults. The real excitement lies in the sheer wonder as to what could be inside as the net is pulled ashore. TIVOLI Sweets Factory

TIVOLI Sweets Factory

TIVOLI is confection maker which opened in November 2017 that produces assorted cookies and boasts the top share in the domestic market. This is their only facility for factory tours and direct retail. The theme is “sweet factory for the five senses.” From the second floor, visitors can observe the staff working and the robots moving nimbly as the sweets are produced. They also offer opportunities for guests to try making their own sweets. Small children can also participate. Guests can also enjoy learning about confection production and eat the freshly baked goodies.

Hakone Komagatake Rope-Way

Within the national park, there is a cable car that connects the shore of Lake Ashi to the summit of Mt. Komagatake over a total distance of 1,783 m. The cable car takes about seven minutes each way. From the summit of Mt. Komagatake, you can enjoy uninterrupted views of Hakone that centers on Lake Ashi and can see the magnificent Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps beyond it. Also, the 360-degree panorama that boasts a unique view of Hakone, overlooks Suruga Bay to Izu Islands, Sagami Bay to Shonan Beach, along with Tokyo Sky Tree and the Boso Peninsula. It is a place where you can experience seasonal flowers and plants, wild birds and insects, and the breath of nature.At the top, prepare yourself for one of the most stunning views of Mt.
