Hakama come in five classic colors (crimson, purple, green, navy, black), plus embroidered, pastel, and gradient designs. We have been farming in Yokohama for over 500 years.After cultivating rice and vegetables, raising pigs and chickens, and growing flowers, we began producing “Ohisama Shiitake” in 2012 and “Ohisama Kikurage” in 2014. In addition to prioritizing safety and quality, we aim to share the deliciousness of food, as well as the enjoyment and importance of agriculture. To this end, we offer experiences such as mushroom picking, BBQ, and at-home shiitake growing kits.We are also committed to environmentally friendly, sustainable farming. Electricity generated by solar panels and other renewable energy sources is used in our mushroom cultivation. Spent mushroom beds are not discarded but returned to the fields as compost, creating a sustainable cycle for growing delicious vegetables.At the farm, you can also try experiences such as using a hand-pumped well and entering an air-raid shelter. At our farm stand, in addition to fresh shiitake and kikurage mushrooms, we offer a variety of processed products, including tsukudani, caramel popcorn, and potato chips made with dried shiitake powder, and pasta kits packaged in collaboration with welfare facilities.

Just a short walk from Keikyu Kawasaki Station, you can try your hand at making "Kiriko", a traditional glass craft, at a workshop located along the old Tokaido road at the ruins of a Kawasaki post. Visitors can choose from a variety of glasses and plates and consult with the studio to find their favorite design, so even beginners can try their hand at faceting. Take your creations home as souvenirs!The classroom nestled within an aesthetic building that was renovated from an old liquor wholesaler. You will use two types of grinders to sharpen the glass, but even beginners can feel at ease as each class is held in small groups, with careful and detailed instruction. 

A barrier-free urban strawberry orchard run by a nursing couple.You don't have to travel far to visit and anyone is welcome.Their Spanish suspended cultivation system with wide aisles allows wheelchairs and strollers to pass through. The view of the strawberries overhead is spectacular.Even children can harvest at just the right height. Please use scissors and a basket to harvest the strawberries and enjoy them at a table.Please enjoy seeing and tasting the strawberries ripened to perfection in the sunlight.

Kouka Awazu is a Japanese calligrapher. She started teaching calligraphy because she had a great experience when she performed abroad and received enthusiastic applause. At this calligraphy school, foreign people can experience Japanese calligraphy in short time and in deep understanding. They offer an English course.

Hiratsuka city is known for its specialty craft, "Soshu Daruma". Arai Daruma Store has continued to handcraft these daruma one by one, preserving traditional techniques of production. You can also experience Daruma painting and coloring here.
