Kamakura Prince Hotel

The Kamakura Prince Hotel is located on a small hill. Here you can enjoy evening views of Sagami Bay, Enoshima, and Mt. Fuji. There are plenty of sunny days from December to March. Manazuru Port

Manazuru Port

This port is a base for the local industries in Manazuru, fishing boats, cargo ships carrying stone materials, and so on. Besides that, there is a fish market nearby where the catch of the day is sold. The Kaijo Togyo (shrine procession in the sea) of the Kibune Festival, an important intangible folk cultural property of Japan, is also held here at the Manazuru Port.There is a fish market nearby that sells the fresh catch of the day. Sales end as soon as the fish is sold out, so going early in the morning is recommended.

Cape Kannonzaki

Cape Kannonzaki

The whole of Cape Kannonzaki is maintained as a park and there, you can find an art museum with scenic landscapes and the Kannonzaki Lighthouse where you can enjoy a view of the Boso Peninsula. There are also wartime ruins you can visit the whole year round, and in summer, you can spend a day at the beach or enjoy a delicious barbecue. This place is also famous for its hydrangeas, and is selected as one of Kanagawa’s Top 100 Flower Spots.

Nogeyama Zoological Gardens

Nogeyama Zoological Gardens

Since its opening in the 26th year of the Showa period (1951), Nogeyama Zoological Gardens has been popular as a familiar zoo. Admission is free and the zoo has a long history of breeding approximately 65 species of animals.The zoo will extend its opening hours on Saturdays and Sundays in August, and will hold a special summer evening event where the zoo will open to the public at night, an experience otherwise unavailable to the public. Visitors can enjoy a different view of the zoo at night when the zoo is decorated with illuminations and the animals are more active!
