Eria YOH is a healing space surrounded by olive trees in the Yamate area of Yokohama. Ichijo Nisshutsu founded the Hongakuji in 1436 (Eikyo 8). Ashikaga Mochiuji built the temple where there was Ebisudo and donated to Nisshutsu. The second chief priest was Niccho Shonin, so the temple is known familiarly as “Niccho-sama”. The temple is also called as “Higashi Minobu”, because Minobusan shared out part of remains of Nichiren to the temple.

To this day, the working-class shopping district of Misaki still maintains a Showa-era atmosphere. Here you can find delicious tuna dishes and other tasty morsels. There are also special events with open participation. Enjoy a night in Misaki with a lot of eating, walking, and interesting things to do.

The shrine has been widely loved by local people as "Iizuna Incarnation of Sagami" since the olden days. The head shrine is Iizuna Shrine in Nagano Prefecture. The shrine ground lead into Zama Park, which is famous for cherry blossoms. You can enjoy a spectacular view of Oyama, Tanzawa, and Hakone mountains over the cherry trees.

It was founded by Minamoto no Yoritomo to invite the spirits of Mishima Taisha and has a beautiful evening view, selected as one of the 50 most scenic spots in Kanagawa. Come and enjoy the view of the sun setting against Mt. Fuji! It was famous as a sacred place, used for exorcism since ancient times, especially during the Kamakura period. It is now a sacred place for children, visited by many people from all over Japan.

The shrine enshrines Okuninushi no Mikoto, the deity of Izumo Taisha, Shimane Prefecture. It formally became a branch of the Izumo Taisha sect in 1888. It has a unique wooden shrine building that combines Taisha-zukuri and Gongen-zukuri styles and features a long hall called the "Winged Hall". The shrine itself is known as the "Izumo of Kanto" and features the 1,000-year-old zelkova tree, which towers over the grounds rich in nature, and the famous Hadano spring. The Yuzuri no Mizu (Yuzuri Water) drawn from 50m below the forest is also very popular among visitors (it is drinkable, and health inspections are carried out yearly). Seasonal events are often held, and many worshippers come throughout the year, as well as visitors for Goshuin (shrine stamps). (Free parking available for up to 130 cars. This is a modern Japanese-style residence that combines a Western-style building and a Japanese-style building. Yokohama City has restored the house as much as possible to its original appearance and opened it to the public as "Negishi Natsukashi Park: Former Yanagishita Residence.” In November 2002, it was designated as a Tangible Cultural Property by Yokohama City.

This Benzaiten (Buddhist Goddess) is located upstream Osawa River. It is said to be enshrined to pray for rain.

Yokohama Yasohachi is a long-standing, traditional Japanese restaurant that has been in operation for over a century. All the ingredients they use are the finest selected from all over Japan. The eel they serve is of a prized domestic brand and can be enjoyed all year round. The atmosphere, a blend of the modern and traditional, only makes the food more delicious. You can enjoy superb cuisine created by masterful cooks.

The railroad in front of Kamakura High School is a famous site in Slam Dunk.

This museum is located in Hiratsuka. Exhibits focus on the nature and culture of the Sagami River basin. A planetarium is attached to the museum and is popular among children for its interesting constellation stories, the latest space information, and various other contents (note the projection dates and times).

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Minato Mirai Line on February 1, 2024, a beautiful "blue" illumination that blends in with the night sky will be illuminated, and a photo spot with a train motif will be available for visitors to enjoy. World-famous lighting designers created these light displays based on the theme of jewels, using around 5.5 million LED bulbs of 8 different varieties and 30 colors. The garden is transformed into a glittering dream world and is packed with couples. Although it is great to simply walk through, we recommend looking down on the lights from the other attractions.

Atop a small hill, this Kawasaki City-operated zoo is free to enter and open year-round. Visitors can observe roughly 50 species of animals up close, including red pandas, lemurs, and even animals rarely see in Japan, such as Hartmann's mountain zebras and the large-horned markhor! Aquatic creatures are also a big hit, like Humboldt penguins and Chilean flamingos. Inside the zoo there are open spaces and playground equipment, making it the perfect spot to relax and spend time with young children.

Yagura are square, horizontal caves dug into rock cliffs where tombstones housing bones of the deceased were erected for memorial services. They are unique structures built primarily in Kamakura and its surrounding areas from the late Kamakura period (1185-1333) to the early Muromachi period (1336-1573). The Mandarado Yagura Caves can be found on the historic Nagao Kishidori Pass, and boasts of one of the largest known clusters, comprising over 150 confirmed caves. Few other locations within Kamakura City offer such a concentrated view of well-preserved yagura. Enjoy the unique, spectacular view of the rows of caves spanning multiple layers.
