Mitsuike Park has been selected as one of Japan’s Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots. Beginning with the winter cherry blossoms that bloom in mid-February, various varieties of cherry blossoms bloom at different times and are loved by visitors. In addition, you can enjoy nature—greenery and autumn leaves—throughout the four seasons, and there are playgrounds, baseball fields, and tennis courts to enjoy other leisure and play sports.

This dedicated hall for prayer was constructed in 1998 to fulfill the wishes of many worshippers, making it the foremost Goma prayer hall in Nikko. In this esoteric Buddhist ritual, your prayers are conveyed to the Buddha through sacred fire. Goma prayers are performed daily and are open to all. They offer various benefits such as domestic tranquility, physical health, and prosperity in business. In the inner sanctuary of the Great Goma Hall, the principal image is the "Five Great Kings", surrounded by 30 statues of Buddhas and ancestral masters, including the "Seven Lucky Gods" and the "Twelve Heavenly Generals." Additionally, on the ceiling, you can find a magnificent painting of a "Great Ascending Dragon" that took two and a half years to complete. Nishinasuno Country Club is an 18-hole golf course designed by the globally renowned golf course architect, Robert Von Hagge, which effectively incorporates the beautiful landscape of Nishinasuno as its background. The course is like a piece of art created as if drawing a picture or writing a smooth melody on the 1.78 million square meters of land that spreads at the foot of the Nasu Mountain Range. If you always wanted to hit an iron shot on a bentgrass fairway and scrape off of a chunk of turf, this is the right course for you. With bentgrass, which is the highest-end grass, holes here are as beautiful as green carpets. Beginners can play comfortably here, but for championship-level players, the course requires higher-level golf techniques.

The Utsunomiya Light Rail (LRT) officially opened on August 26, 2023. From JR Utsunomiya Station to Haga-Takanezawa Industrial Areas, this railway connecting important spots in the eastern of the city. The tram has became an indispensable transportation for Utsunomiya’s sightseeing.   LRT’s born The Utsunomiya LRT is the first time in Japan constructed as a new railway line without expanding or improving the existing railway line since 1948.   The LRT is currently running the HU300 model, which is a next-generation tram made by Japan’s advanced technology. There are now 19 stations on the line.   Rides and Tickets LRT accepts IC cards and cash. You can use such as Suica, PASMO and ICOCA cards here. To ride with IC card, just touch your card at the green sensor near the door when you get on the tram, and touch the yellow sensor when you get off.   If you ride with cash, you need to take a ticket at the platform before you boarding the tram, and you only can get off through the front door. Put the ticket and cash into cash box before getting off. The cash box can exchange for coins, but only accept 1,000 yen bill.   Depending on the distance, tickets for adults range from 150 to 400 yen, and 80 to 200 yen for child.

Torinoko Sansho Shrine consists of a main hall, a worship hall, a tower gate, a Torii gate (at the prefectural border of Tochigi and Ibaraki) and the main shrine. The shrine is known for its lucky owl, a messenger from the god who brings good luck. The temple complex contains the nation’s largest statue of an owl, an owl post, an owl bell and an owl statue on which visitors pour water to wash their troubles away. Other notable sites include a miraculous turtle well that has never dried up and the building known as Gochiin where famous feudal lord Mitsukuni Tokugawa once stayed.

The former Kibata elementary school is now open to the public as a traditional village offering a wide range of activities including farming experience， pottery classes and noodle， tofu and Konjac making workshops. The venue has a café as well as camping and barbeque areas.

Mt. Chausu，located at the north end of Tochigi prefecture，is an active volcano and the main peak of the Nasu mountains. It stands 1,915 metres above sea level. Take the ropeway to the 9th station of Mt.Chausu for a spectacular view of fields of flowers and autumn leaves. If you are a big fan of trekking，try the routes from the top of the ropeway to the crater of Mt. Chausu. A wide range of walking trails are available suitable for beginners and families. The panoramic view of the Kanto Plain below from the top of Mt. Chausu is breathtaking.

The world biggest Japanese drum "Takio" school. You can learn playing the taiko from the very basics. They colaborated aerobic movement with the great sound and air waves of Wadaiko, Japanese taiko. This is a new fitness style created by TAIKO-LAB. Punching the Wadaiko with the drumsticks and you step to the music. You can have an easy and effective aerobic exercise.

Yugawara Onsen is famous for being taken up in the Man'yoshu, Japanese classic book. Hot spring Ryokan, "The Ryokan Tokyo" was visited by many Meiji and Taisho cultural figures. This ryokan is a 'Cool' hot spring onsen remixed with the contemporary culture and the old Onsen culture from Nara era. Tatoos are allowed here.
