This hall was built in 1932 as the main building of Okura Mental and Cultural Laboratory, by a business-man Okura Kunihiko, who bacame the dean of Toyo University. The hall was donated to Yokohama City in 1981, and after a major renovation to preserve the building, the hall was transformed into Okurayama Memorial Hall in 1984.The hall was designated as a tangible cultural property of Yokohama City in 1991, as the hall occupies an important place in the modern architechtural market. You cannot view the hall and the meeting room as the building is usually used as a local facility, but you can see the common space such as the entrance. The building is famous for being the site of filming, and over 30 films are shot in a year.

Opened to the public in 1949, this sports park has been the site for national sporting events and the Tokyo Olympics. Along with Nippatsu Mitsuzawa Stadium, where J.League and Rugby Top League matches are held, and the JAAF (Japan Association of Athletics Federations) certified class 2 track stadium, this park has a wide variety of sports facilities including tennis court, horse riding area, Hiranuma Memorial Gymnasium, Kanagawa prefecture sports center.

A one Michelin star kaiseki restaurant to be fully enjoyed. It’s located in a quiet residential neighbourhood a little distance away from Kita Kamakura station. The building, a renoavted old traditional Japanese home that was the former secondary residence of actress Kinuyo Tanaka, is extremely tasteful and very much a hidehouse. The menu is full course only for both lunch and dinner, and completely decided by the chef. Centered on local ingredients from Kamakura, the menu is decided according to the ingredients sourced on the day.Spend a quiet and luxurious time in an old house with the best kaiseki cuisine. This pig farm is located in the westernmost area of Fujisawa. A shop is set up on the property on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. Pork and pork products (such as marinated pork and hamburg steak) are sold from the refrigerator, and vegetables are also sold depending on the season.

The Shonandai Cultural Center is a large facility with unique buildings such as a large globe, a civic theater and children's hall, and a community center. The children's museum has an exhibition hall where children can learn hands-on while having fun playing with toys from around the world and ethnic musical instruments. We also offer a planetarium with live commentary, a “space theater” with realistic full-dome movies, and a workshop room where many workshops are held.

This is the former residence of Shigeru Yoshida (1878-1967), who was the prime minister after the war. Originally, around 1884, his adoptive father Kenzo Yoshida bought the land and built the villa, but he took it over after his father's death. From around 1945, he made this his main resident and spent the rest of years here. This facility is a restoration of the former residence.

Zushi Beach is called the "half-a-mile beach where the sun was born" for its actively enjoyed marine sports throughout the year. This monument is a symbol of Zushi Beach.

The fifth of the Five Great Mountains(temples) of Kamakura, Jpmyoji temple is a Buddhism temple belonging to the Kenchoji school of Rinzai Zen. There is a beautiful rock garden with a Japanese atmosphere. At the Kama Garden Terrace, you can enjoy the view of the garden while enjoying a cup of tea.

Sano yakuyoke-daishi is the popular name of this Tendai Buddhist temple in Sano City, Tochigi Prefecture. The name was made famous via TV commercials. The Crafts Studio Village is a facility in which you can experience the traditional crafts of garment weaving, indigo dyeing, paper making, pottery making, and wood bamboo crafting in Aikawa Town’s prefectural Aikawa Park. You can try out activities that you would usually not get the opportunity to try, such as garment weaving and using a potter's wheel in order to create your own original items. It is a fun way to learn about the history of traditional crafts.

Various kinds of tools collected by Mr. Tatsuo Akisawa are displayed. Exhibits are everyday use tools used by ordinary people in the Edo period, the Meiji era, the Taisho period, and the early Showa period. You can have a glimpse of the good old Japan that has since been forgotten. There is also an experience corner where you can actually try using them.

Storehouse style buildings scattered in the Misaki Shitamachi Shotengai create an atmosphere of Showa period. The Shotengai offers various specialty foods, including Misaki Tuna. Annual events are: "Chakkirako (UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage)" on January 15, and "Miura Yoichi" in August.

The Mount Kamakura Residential area was developed as a high class suburban area during the early Showa period, making a name out of Kamakura across the nation. While preserving the mountain range as much as possible, this residential area was built in the middle of greenery, with Japan’s first road for vehicles linking the area to Ofuna Station. Along the road, there are many sakura trees planted from a long time ago, making the area one of Kamakura’s famous sakura spots.
