Soba Noodle Restaurant "Shirakawa-go" is on the 1st floor of the Yamashita House located in the center of Nihon Minka-en. This house is an old folk house with a large gassho-zukuri-style thatched roof, which is designated an important cultural property of Kanagawa prefecture. The soba noodle served here is made of spring water obtained from Oshino village in Yamanashi prefecture.

Thirty mins by car from the center of Kamakura City. Hojo Kanezawa’s family constructed in the Kamakura Period by Sanetoki Hojo. The Jodoshiki Teien Garden centred around the Ajiike Pond in front of the main building is a sight to behold. The path leading to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, called “dankazura,” extends approximately 500 meters from the second torii gate to the shrine itself. In 1182, Minamoto no Yoritomo, the first shogun of Japan, built the traditional street to the shrine as he prayed for the safe delivery of his wife, Masako. Cherry blossoms and azaleas are planted to the left and right, and the scenery is breathtaking during the flower season.

The Night Time Illumination of Mt. Oyama is held from mid to late November each year. Visitors can enjoy magnificent red leaves on Mt. Oyama as well as a sweeping views of the surrounding area that stretches out to Sagami Bay.The illuminations will take place on weekdays from sunset until 7pm, and on weekends and holidays from sunset until 8pm.

It is a shop with a garden, which is rare among rental kimono shops along Komachi Dori in Kamakura. The store interior has an area of 182 square meters, and visitors can take photographs with their own cameras, and head to the tourist spots right away. In June and July, colourful hydrangeas bloom around the temple.The precincts with the majestic Kannon-do hall and lovely trees and ponds are enveloped in a light that “connects,” like the lanterns given to those who visit.

Shiboku-san Togakuin Temple is a temple of the Tendai sect of Buddhism, and there are few records of its history. Passing through the Niomon Gate, visitors will enter a manicured azalea garden and continue along the approach to the main hall, which was rebuilt during the Ansei Era. Various events such as Zen meditation sessions, sutra reading sessions, and numerous other workshops are held here. The events are also posted on YouTube and other social networking sites.
