The Communication Hall of Space Science and Exploration building is a visitor facility operated by the JAXA Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS). Visitors can see exhibits up-close, including an authentic M-V rocket that completed ground combustion tests, test models of scientific satellites, and displays related to the asteroid explorer "Hayabusa2". Wall-mounted monitors display information alongside staff-guided tours. (Please see the website for start times.)

The wild trees, shrubs, and flowers along the shore of Lake Ashi are many in this lush nature park. Within the park is the spiritual spot, Kuzuryu Shrine Hongu. After heading through the entrance to the nature trail, you’ll see the grass swaying from the breeze across the lake. It’s easy to feel the passing of the ever-changing seasons in this much nature.

Tomoshibi Shop Sakura is a shop where people with disabilities and local people work together. In addition to providing meals, light meals, and tea/coffee, the shop also sells handmade works by KOMNY, a non-profit consisting of five towns in the Ashigarakami district, products from local collaborators, local specialties, and old-fashioned sweets.

Branches of renowned ramen shops from across Japan and around the world are packed in this ramen museum, with an interior that replicates a retro streetscape.

At Nakai Satomachi CAFÉ, you can relax while gazing at Mt. Fuji. Brand specialties are also on sale here. Next to the café, a giant pizza oven measuring approximately 2 meters across, and a kitchen range have been installed, and there is a Satomachi Kitchen where people can try their hand at making pizza.

Tobiccho is concerned about the freshness and tastiness of Shirasu (whitebait, baby sardine). The shirasu don't stay fresh so long that Tobiccho uses only ones caught on the day. The shirasu come directly from Shonan, Fujisawa, Katase and Kamakura fishery port.

Ryugeji is one of the old temples that was founded by Minamoto no Yoritomo and Mongaku Shonin in the outer harbor area. It enshrines and is famous for Boke-fuji Kannon (dementia prevention). It also enshrines Jizobosatsuzazo and Daikokuten (the God of Wealth), which is one of the Yokohama Kanazawa Seven Deities of Good Fortune. The temple is also known as the temple of peony.

Every citizen of the Kanagawa Prefecture talks about climbing up to the highest peak in the prefecture at least once. Between Inugoetouge and Hinokiboramaru the rhododendron wadanum flowers (azaleas) are the first to bloom, followed by the rhododendron quinquefolium (also a type of azalea) in the beginning of May. In autumn the Japanese larch show off their golden leaves. Mount Hiru allows you to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and feel the mountain in your soul. In summer majestic constellations visible from the summit appear so close that they could almost be reached. In winter you can feel on top of the world as you enjoy the fresh mountain air and a 360 degree night panorama.

This is a cafeteria located on the 2nd floor of the Misaki Seafood Local Wholesale Market. You’ll be able to taste several types of cuisine with a menu of set meals and rice bowls, from things like Misaki tuna to sashimi made from fish purchased the same day in the market to fried locally caught fish.

Miura City has many scenic spots, including views of Mt. Fuji across Sagami Bay and the atmospheric Misaki Shitamachi, an old Showa-era area. To fully enjoy taking your time to explore, we recommend renting a bicycle. As well as normal bicycles, we offer some electrically assisted bicycles.

The house that was created in the Edo period remains as it is and there are many materials such as agricultural tools that help us understand the life of the rural people back then. Free tours are available and various events are held such as the Bamboo Lantern Festival in September. It is the first cultural asset that was registered in Yokohama City.

You can always find flowers throughout the year as well as paths covered with flourishing trees in Azumayama park. Also, at the peak, there is an observatory where you can enjoy a panorama of Sagami Bay while enjoying a comfortable sea breeze from Shonan. Viewing Period: late September to early October (best time for viewing: when the equinox flowers blossom). In the Endo area of northern Fujisawa, equinox flowers grow in groups along a small river for around 3km in length. Enjoy the view of flowers surrounding you everywhere as you take a walk. Previously located in the south of Hadano City, Minami Hadano Village, is home to many historic temples and shrines, as well as many spring water spots. Please feel free to visit the nine temples and shrines, some of which include the Seven Gods of Good Fortune plus cranes and turtles, to gather good fortune and enjoy a relaxing time. A special red seal map is available at each spot and at the Hadano Station Tourist Information Center, and visitors who collect all the red seal stamps on the map will receive a prize for completing the tour.

This specialty store supplies many Chinese teas imported from various parts of China. It is located 10m away from Kanteibyo temple, the symbol of Chinatown. The store has a calming atmosphere reminiscent of retro Shanghai. There is also a cafe where you can enjoy Chinese tea on the 2nd floor.

This hiking course travels around a waterfall that is reminiscent of spilling marbles and a standing stone that Prince Yamato Takeru is said to have visited. The course gets its name from looking like a fog at times when the Miyashita River which sources its waters at Mt. Hinomiya is running high. Beside it is the Fudodo, which is also known by the name Devil’s Waterfall.
