This shopping arcade is composed of around 130 shops with over 90 years of history. This is the former residence of Shigeru Yoshida (1878-1967), who was the prime minister after the war. Originally, around 1884, his adoptive father Kenzo Yoshida bought the land and built the villa, but he took it over after his father's death. From around 1945, he made this his main resident and spent the rest of years here. This facility is a restoration of the former residence.

This is a nature-rich managed fishing and barbecue area located in Tanzawa Oyama National Park. Visitors can enjoy mountain stream fishing in a natural setting and barbecue along the river while fishing. There is also a fishing pond for children and beginners, and trout catching can also be enjoyed in summer. The shumai dumplings from Kiyoken are known as a famous food of Yokohama. At the Yokohama factory, you are able to tour their shumai and o-bento lunchbox production lines. The "Moka Summer Festival," the largest event in Moka City, will be held for three days on late July. More than 20 portable shrines and floats gather together at the festival square, where you can feel the enthusiasm of the festival goers.   On the first day of the festival, "Degyo-matsuri," or the "departure from the shrine," is held at Omae Shrine.Many festival-goers participate in the Degyo-matsuri to pray for the safety of the procession of portable shrines and stalls, a good harvest, the eradication of disease, and the development of industry. After the Degyo-Dashi, "Machiawase" is held, in which the portable shrines are carried across each town council, and the head mikoshi parades through the city.   On the second day, "Festival Plaza" will be held and the city center will become a pedestrian zone. approximately 20,000 fireworks will color the night sky, and "Mikoshi Kawatogo (carried mikoshi to cross the river)" would be held on Gogyo River.

The “Autumn Mashiko Pottery Fair” is held on early November every year. This fair started from 1966, there are about 50 shops and as many as 550 tents set up selling pottery. The Pottery Fairs provide a great chance to enjoy talking with young artists and local potters in the shops and tents. Every year about 600,000 people come to enjoy the fair.

Nasu Heisei no Mori is a forest park that was originally part of nearby Nasu Imperial Villa. The forest opened to the public in 2011 as part of Nikko National Park. Nasu Heisei-no-Mori Forest consists of two areas: the Forest Recreation Zone and the Forest Learning Zone. You can stroll freely through the forest. There are three loop trails in the Recreation Zone. The longest, about 3 kilometers, leads to the Komadome Waterfall Observation Deck. At Nasu’s Komadome Waterfall, the scene created by the dynamic, seasonal landscape of the mountains and the contrast of the waterfall’s stunningly clear, blue water is simply breathtaking. In contrary, entering the "Forest Learning Zone" is limited to people with guide reservations in advance, but is definitely a valuable experience, since a guide will walk you through the forest while providing you interesting knowledge about the surrounding nature. During the winter months when the Forest Learning Zone is closed to the public, the Field Center offers guided snowshoe walks through the Recreation Zone.

Mt. Chausu，located at the north end of Tochigi prefecture，is an active volcano and the main peak of the Nasu mountains. It stands 1,915 metres above sea level. Take the ropeway to the 9th station of Mt.Chausu for a spectacular view of fields of flowers and autumn leaves. If you are a big fan of trekking，try the routes from the top of the ropeway to the crater of Mt. Chausu. A wide range of walking trails are available suitable for beginners and families. This hall was built in 1932 as the main building of Okura Mental and Cultural Laboratory, by a business-man Okura Kunihiko, who bacame the dean of Toyo University. The hall was donated to Yokohama City in 1981, and after a major renovation to preserve the building, the hall was transformed into Okurayama Memorial Hall in 1984.The hall was designated as a tangible cultural property of Yokohama City in 1991, as the hall occupies an important place in the modern architechtural market. You cannot view the hall and the meeting room as the building is usually used as a local facility, but you can see the common space such as the entrance. The building is famous for being the site of filming, and over 30 films are shot in a year.

What is the dancing nembutsu at the Yugyo-ji Temple? It is said that during the Kamakura era, when Ippen Shonin of the Jishu Buddhism branch was performing nembutsu across the country, at one point, one of his disciples suddenly started dancing during the chanting. People who saw this followed him and started this dancing tradition, which has now evolved into all sorts of Bon festivals and folk arts incorporating cultures and characteristics from all kinds of places. People of Fujisawa embrace the culture that is passed down to them and use the dancing nembutsu as a theme to hold the brand-new Bon of Yugyo event, containing the Yugyo Dance.
